Just wondered if anyone here plays Merchant Empires. If not its worth checking out, its a free online space trader/fighter game where you build bases, destroy bases, trade, upgrade ports, research weapons and base design, buy bigger and better ships and more 
. The new round started a couple days ago... if you need an alliance let me know and I'll get you hooked up

Basically the game is turn based but real time. Every hour you get turns (all actions cost turns) and you can use them whenever but only store like 40 hours worth of them or so. Turns are used to trade, attack, build, excetra.

Sounds interesting. I'll go register an account now. I like how they allow you to store points.

Turns... but yea, they translate into points when you use them pretty much 
. Do you know how to get irc running? You can download it free at alot of places. I usualyl use MIRC. www.mirc.com/ I believe. If you got aim or something I can help you set up irc.

I messaged you in game.. usually vets are the best tutorial. There is one but a few things are outta date on it with last rounds code info. Its under Help -> Documentation. Just get on irc and all will be explained :-).
