QUOTE
‘It is 2021, tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of 9/11. America is under oppression by ultra-liberal extremists who have surrendered governing authority to the United Nations. Hate speech legislation called the “Coulter Laws” have forced vocal conservatives underground. A group of bio-mechanically enhanced conservatives led by Sean Hannity, G. Gordon Liddy, Oliver North, and a young man born on September 11, 2001, set out to thwart Ambassador Usama bin Laden's plans to nuke New York City.'

Just thinking about it makes my head hurt. Especially the issue where they duplicate John Kerry.

Yeah, it's hillarious in that "are they actually serious?" kind of way.

Seems like a stupid joke to me.

Of course, liberals run the country. Why didn't I realize?

That's why people keep banning or trying to ban gay marriage, stem cell research, the theory of natural selection taught in schools, abortion, porn, and generally everything good in life more than ever before...

That makes perfect sense...

My dad's friend bought that comic. I read issue one and two. freaking hilarious.

It's awwwwwsummm.

They know that liberals will buy it to laugh,

Conservatives will buy it because they actually believe it will come to that

And kids like me will read it for free buy it because of the plots and the cool gadgets an' stuff...

Yeah, this reminds me of the Colbert Report. Liberals find him to be hilarious and conservatives think he's serious about all the satire he spouts.

This is very much the same. The comic seems like a total farse that will make leftists laugh and rightists believe.

Unfortunately, I think all of you are undercutting the truth of this. After a leader like Bush, a democrat is all but forced into power. The repulbican class won't be trusted for a very long time, until they 'knock it off' which may cause conservatives to stay silent about how any other leader is screwing up there country, even as the liberal party does it now.

I'm doubtful we'll all turn into robots. lol. And a lot of you are making generalizations about conservatives not being able to take a joke every once in a while. *cough*

I think that I am going to buy two copies of this comic when I get some pocket change. tongue.gif

Jesus Christ, people believe this stuff? I certainly wouldn't call myself a liberal (or a conservative, for that matter) but it seems completely ridiculous that anyone would believe this is where we're going...

Stop living in 2003. Bush was already elected for a second term. The Democrats are just as freaked up as the Republicans right now, that's why they can't win an election either. Unless some black horse candidate wins an election, we're going to be stuck with purple America for some time, meaning that it's pretty much anybody's guess who is going to win an election. It depends on a number of tiny issues that aren't really important...

I don't know if the next president will definately be a democrat, but I actually assume that Congress will have a democratic majority by the next presidential election.

My grandfather and one of my uncles are republicans, and I'd have to say they have the best sense of humor in my family. So I know they can take a joke. smile.gif I also know plenty of conservatives, though, who make tons of jokes at the expense of liberals and democrats, so I may have an issue with the quality of the jokes that they tell.. pinch.gif
