In my map, I've got a lot zealots. A lot. Evil alien commandoes, sent to conquer the earth, you see. Anyway, for some reason these zealots don't want to attack my units. They just gather around them in a huge ball and let themselves get slaughtered.
So what's going wrong? I have them running 'Random Suicide Missions', though I've tested 'Strategic'. Help!
Are they enemies? Owned by a computer player with a start location? Can they reach the units they've been randomly assigned to attack? Hyper triggers constantly running the ai script could mess up their attacks, as well. Are the units not invincible?
There are tons of reasons that this could be caused.. most of the time you see units "ball" around the enemy they're supposed to attack they're owned by player 9, 10, 11, or 12, but this isn't the case in this. If none of my guesses were accurate (very likely), I'd suggest posting the map to have your problem solved.
Did you make sure to set the human players as enemies to the computer?
I did. And besides, ranged units attack the player fine.
Okay, did you set the computers to enemies? Also put all start locations cause that sometimes messess it up. And did you put preserve trigger on the Random Suicide Missions. Cause they wouldnt have time to attack because u keep on making them do it.
