INTRODUCTION

In the old days, People used to believe in many gods.
Life was simple then until An evil Dark Lich King, Gyrakettsuki, Challenged the most Powerful God of them all. That God's name was Meiretstu. The rage went on to for 1396 years. During this time, the sacred Earth Spirit, Quacheurt, was killed. The Earth Spirit's job was to keep the actual fabrication of the world intact. With him gona, all hell broke lose. Continents shatterred into tiny islands and mountain crumbled to small hills. Many millenia later though, the earth settled down, and mankind began the reconstruction of the world. But man themselves cannot complete this task. They will need a sacred Gemstone, known as the "Quaearch Stone", that will give 1 sole person the power to shape earth and summon mountains. All was going well until one of the few surviving liches vowed revenge against humans and seeked the "Quaearch Stone".

-Interactive Town and Townspeople

Terrain

256 x 256 fully customized and extended jungle terrain. 5 continents for you to explore, swamps, hell (creep), and waterfalls.

GAMEPLAY

You play as Karu, a young prince, who is destined to rebuild the earth.
Karu is a Hero Zealot.
Your main character can become 1 of 4 classes (or more. Still trying to think of them.)
Each one of these classes have Pros and Cons, and they all have their own Special Abilities.
This game is 1P.
(I'm trying to make this game impossible to beat in a few hours)

CLASSES

Karu can become four classes. In this section, I will explain the classes in detail to you.

Knight:
Unit: Vulture
Special Abilities:

Reinforcements
Town Call
Faith

Pros:
-High Speed
-Good Strength

Cons:
-Not many abilities

The knight is a standard class. It has good damage and good speed. Reinforcements at level 1 summons 2 militia to do your bidding, costs 150 mana. At level 2 reinforcements summon 4 militia to do you bidding, costs 300 mana. When maxed it summons 1 Mounted Knight to do your bidding, costs 350 mana. Town call teleports you to your castle, costs 50 mana. Faith at level 1 heals 1 counter to your life bar after every battle (Passive, 0 mana). Faith level 2 give 2 counters at the same mana cost and Faith level 3 heals 3 at the same mana cost.

Pirate:

Unit: Zealot

Special Abilities:
Mug
Greed
Scurvy
Hands on Deck

Pros:
-High HP
-High attack

Cons:
-Low Defense

Pirates are strong. But they have low defense. Mug level 1 has a 50% chance of stealing an item from an enemy and damaging them at the cost of 50 mana. At level 2, mug has a 60% chance of stealing and damaging and costs 60 mana. Mug at level 3 has an 80% chance of stealing an item from an enemy, but always deals damage and costs 100 mana! Greed is a passive skill that increases the amount of money you get at the end of battle. Scurvy is a 1 level skill that has a 50% chance of poisoning the enemy and costs 20 mana. Hands on deck is a 1 level passive skill that increasing your chance of running way from an enemy by 30 percent.

Ninja

Unit: Ghost

Special Abilities:
Flaming Ninpo Trap
Floor Ninpo Trap
Projectile Ninpo Trap
Shurikens
Wind Walk

Pros:
-High Speed, Low Drag

Cons:
-Average Attack
-Low Defence

(Mana is treated as the word Ninpo) injas have ecelling speed. All their special abilities have only 1 level though. The Flaming Ninpo Trap Summons 1 Right Flame Trap Beside you to fend off enemies and costs 40 ninpo. The Floor Ninpo Trap Summons 1 Floor Machine Gun Trap to fend off enemies and costs 50 ninpo. The Projectile Ninpo Trap summons 1 Floor Missile Trap to fend off enemies. Shurikens can only be used on Bosses and Mini-Bosses. Shurikens costs 0 ninpo and they shoot 1 interceptor (the animation) at the enemy. Causes the Boss or Miniboss to lose 5% HP, So basically you can start every Boss or Miniboss battle with them having 95% HP at the click of a button (and a few seconds). Wind Walk summons 2 Hallucinations of you to do your bidding.

Yeah this actually seems kind of interesting.

When you say high quality cinematics, what does that entail? Some better dialogue and more movement or are you going to woo us with something completely different?

And what do you need a partner for? Terrain or triggers or unit placement or everything?

Many people try to create things they can't create simply because they lack experience. I think that is the case. But I would be more than happy if you proove me wrong. smile.gif

No offence, but you seem unconfident/unsure about what would you want your map to look like. Or you're simply too lazy to type it in tongue.gif

Seems interesting and all, but will you be able to actually do that stuff? I hope it has better terrain than the Megaman Navi Netbattle map :l

Ok, when you face an average enemy, you kill the enemy viareal time combat. But the enemy tries to kill you via VHP.. When you face a Boss or Mini Boss, They have VHP. So basically- Basic Enemies: RTB Big Enchiladas- VHP.

Well, there will be alot of items, (Potions, Revival Flasks, Flash Bombs, Stink Bombs, etc.). The items that you can use in battles are actual units, while the items that you cant use in battle are "virtual".

Some thing like the Final Fantasy system. When you walk in enemy infested areas, youhave a chance (via switches, of course) of getting into a battle. The only difference is that you dont get transferred to an arena, the enemy spawns on the location following Karu.

What is the GeforceFX you are talking about? The cinematics will range from 30 seconds to up to maybe 2 minutes.

Edit: Except important cutscenes and the introduction. Those will be like 10 minutes.

Minerals for strength and armor (you upgrade), but I'mm thinking leaderboard for mana, too many triggers and locations if I do a minimap bar.

Well, when you buy a house, the trigger will place one counter and wait for *** (I don't know) seconds. After *** is up, Preserve trigger takes effect ???. After maybe 10 counters are placed, It randomizes 3 switches. If at least two of them are set, someone bought your house. For gaining money, maybe after 10 battles, your guy pays the rent of ??? (depending on house)

Non-existant now. These have been changed. (I'm using burrowed units, that means I might do a minimap bar)

Aircrafts can engage in combat. By the way, Heavy Armor Transport - Siege Tank, Enchanted Aircraft - Arbiter, Light Armored Aircraft - scout. From how on it is HAT, EA, and LAA.

When receiving items, it is randomized. I don't know if I should have a selling system. Any suggestions?

Noooooo! Don't use waits for buying a house. And have fun transfering your real time combat stats to virtual stats when you do fight the bosses. Personally, I would think that it's better if all battles utilized VHP, rather than using actual HP and VHP, because all the stat transfering is sort of a waste. Plus you'll have items that deal damage right?

Agreed on the Waits issue. Using Wait actions is much less flexible than Death Counts and can easily mess up other triggers.

I don't think the HP + VHP will be a problem, since the player's character is always using VHP, and no transfer of stats is needed. Only lesser monsters use normal HP.

Well, I finished the terrain and unit names, and I scratched on the locations and unit placement. Haven't touched the triggers yet. Also, lol that was a funny joke.
