•That's excatly what I'm in need for.
So I need ideas for the following:
- Enemies(monsters) and bosses
- Characters
- Classes
- Weapons/Armors/Accessories with special attributes
- Sidequest
- Mini-games
- Skills/Magic
- Name for my RPG

-Terrain
•Terrain as yet to be done, I hate doing it before triggers because I'll change my mind for sure.

-Unit placement
•Look at Terrain.

-Triggers
•Most Triggers will be dialogues with characters such as people in town.
•Other triggers will maily be used for the "complicated" battle system.

-Players
•4 Players map. (1 to 4 players vs 1 to 4 monsters)

-Map tileset
•Jungle

-Map size
•256x256: Story
•96x96: Mini-games
•96x96: Arena




Storyline / Introduction

Basically, the player would need to go throught the storyline and wait for map updates/new maps and continue on.




Features


-Player Interface
To progress through the story, you must need the main character. If you don't all you will be able to do is: doing your character related events, fighting monsters, talking to town people.

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
•My Battle system which will be, fast, compact, reliable and very similar to games such as Final Fantasy VI.
•People will be able to load their characters in a completely new game , thus being able to continue their progress with new people, or even fight with them in the arena.

-Characters
•Alt-7 for bullet

-Weapons
•Each character has a different set of 8 weapons and 8 armors that they can always carry and switch between them.

-Items
•Some very rare items will be dropped from some enemies increasing your stats permanently, or having a great effect during battles. Items can be brought at shops, if you have the money. Different potions will heal of a different amount.

-Spells
•Spells and skills will have their own experience, but in groups. For instance, Casting a high level fire magic will increase a lot your Fire skills experience

-Stats
•Strength: Main physical attack factor
•Vitality: Main physical defense factor
•Dexterity: Determines speed, evasion and accuracy of skills and some spells.
•Magic Power: Main magical attack factor
•Spirit: Main magical defense factor

How is the game played? whats the goal...The systems explain a good guess how to play but please explain

The game will start like a normal RPG, with only the main character. But fear not, in not even 5 mins the main character will be able to get new characters and assign them to whoever players wants if (unless they already loaded their char of have one).

As for battles, I will use the "random encounter" which is, after each step in a certain area, like some areas may have 23/256 encounter rate per step (average I would say), If a battle is set, depending on the area monsters will be randomly chosen to fight against the party.

There is now goal yet to the game, I never really planned an ending to it. Right now my script is only 2000 words big and it's more humoristic and about vengeance than anything else. Not to mention that my RPG is more like Japanese RPGs, so expect ecchi jokes and unrealistic humor. happy.gif

EDIT: DOH I completely forgot to talk about battles:
Depending on your speed, you will be able to act more often. For instance; A character with 48 speed will act 2x more than a character with 24 speed (Speed is set by the amount of dexterity and weapon/armor).
If you don't choose something before the 30 seconds ends, your option will be set at Memory (for action), along with attack command and random target. This will also happen if you try to train, then go AFK and your character runs out of MP.
Max HP/MP for players is 65,535 and for enemies: 9,800,000.

Why didnt you just make your RPG topic, and make a topic in mapping assistance for people to give ideas. Cause we dont even know what your RPG is called...

Because it doesn't even fit in the sub-forum's description. I don't have any problem to be solved, I just need ideas. This sub-forum looked much more appropriated as this is not a map/even Starcraft related question.

But this sub-forum, 'Maps in Production' isnt really used for ideas. If you needed ideas, you should of put them in the sub-forums, 'Ideas'.
