Someone got into my account, did some more damage. It's partially my fault for keeping SEN up instead of taking it down until things were fixed. I just figured the situation was different.
I still don't have access to our cpanel. Moose changed the password to some screwed up ascii that it won't accept in the password verification. Not really his fault, so don't blame him too much. But anyways, I can't get the automatic backups and I don't think I'll be able to until they are overwritten.
Damage done:
x Pages of topics in serious discussion was deleted.
x Some news posts were deleted.
x Pages of topics in the welcome forum were deleted.
NEW: ... or not...
Clan OO's were moved into U (thanks sala).
Still looking for the other crap.
What's been done:
x I secured what I think is the access point for getting into other people's accounts.
x The forgot password function is still disabled. If anyone has password problems, email me at isolatedpurity [at] gmail [dot] com from the email address you signed up here. Include your member name (or even better, your member id if you know it) and I'll fix the problem.
x Things like deleting topics have been disabled to prevent further abuse, just in case.
x I gave everyone 2000 minerals who was negative or had an over-abudence. They don't mean much anyways.
What you can do:
Change your password again to something new. 8-16 characters is recommended, using at least a couple numbers and punction. Don't use any dictionary words what-so-ever. This is just to make sure someone doesn't have a valid cookie under your name.
On the positive side of things:
This has renewed my interest in SEN... which, subjectively, is a lot better than a few missing topics. I hate data loss like this... but eventually, things will move on.

im just wondering why would they pick Clan Oo forums only instead of wiping out all the clan forums....

alot of it is from the null anyway... if there anything important in there then just sort that stuff out... the rest you can delete it since its all useless talk.

and I had 6 karma thingies (he removed 1000, but it wouldn't let em so it's at 0 instead

also if it helps any, I had 3,2## minerals...but 2000 is still pretty good compared to the -1 I had before

Finally v4 is back online with more damages

Aww, shoot, after I saw the portal with the gap in news topics I got this happy feeing like we were on a somewhat old backup. Nice to know everything's fixed though.

As far as I can tell, the mod showcase fourm's topics are completely gone. There are a couple of news topics in Serious, and I didn't see any other threads that appeared to me merges of multiple topics.

Thats sorta gay cause if someone was at like 50 or something and went to -100, thats not that bad cause i was at 1024 and went to 48 next morning.
