Ok, this is how it goes: i need a way to get people to fire dark swarms at each other, and damage each other. Yes, i know this topic is in tutorials; i read it. it doesn't help me. i don't know if it's impossible to make the distinction between collisions, but i need to. does anyone have any way to make distinctions between dark swarm collisions, so that ppl would b able to fire at each other?

NOTE: if u have no idea wut ur talking about, PLZ do not answer and clutter this up.

You can't. You can only set the swarms to kill/hurt whoever gets hit by them indescriminately. It'll be up to the players not to blow off their own nuts, in that case. tongue.gif

lol, thx. the thing i was trying to do was have 5 zerglings (5 hp points) centered under each 'filer, and different weapons would remove different amounts of zerglings. like 1 would be 'remove 1 zergling for foes at location 'small'', and another 'remove 3 zerglings at location 'f*ing big rocket launcher location''. i dont know if thats still possible or not. if there truly is no way around it, then there would be no way to tell which person fired what weapon. any suggestions?

ok i'm PRETTY sure i know what I'm talking about...if not, you may beat me forty minus one times.

This is just a suggestion but it might be kind of slow. To allow colisions you might try this:

When a Dark swarm hits some one, create a fast flying unit at the attackers location and have it fly towards the other person (with some fancy triggering you could easily have it follow them). If they collide in the air well then, there's your collision.

You must not understand the problem, Sopris.
It's impossible to tell who created the dark swarm. There is no way to find out who is shooting who.

It's been deemed impossible for years.
