Well while I was on youtube I was looking up speed runs on different games so then I just typed in starcraft and found these 2 videos.
This one here is the korea league. Just goes to show that yes koreans love starcraft. And the funny part is that its like they hotkey everyunit because in the video 1 firebat killed at least 30 zerglings.
Now the other one is this 6min Starcraft Ghost video. Even this is old just goes to show wasted time.
Also I found some goofs during that one and some things of interest.
Like for one, the part were all the marines were fighting the ultralisk shouldnt the ultra been dead already because there was like 25 marines agaisnt it?
And also when there in the dropship look closely at that "russian" like guy's shoulder pad. You can see the hammer and sickle which represents communism. But how could that exist when there in the year 2400! Also remember how mutalisks had that "super attack" in starcraft beta. Well look closely you can see the resemblence to it but it could still be a glave wurm.

I rly liked the ghost 1!! I can't believe they stopped making it.. It seems like it would of been a great FPS! I think they will finish it.. Later in the future!
probably around 2400, the whole earth is probably working together to fight alien zerg and protoss... so earth probably got world peace. they probably got some americans and some russians and some arabian people.
i dont know why they would destroy starcraft ghost... it probably cost alot of money just to make that game and then destroy it. they would of made a profit out of that game.... you know i would bought that game once it came out.
Starcraft doesn't take place on Earth...
And in my opinion, I think Russia took over the Earth and formed the UED, explaining the accents of the Admiral, Vice-Admiral and the Valkerie (which they brought with them).

so what your saying that humans came from another planet?
I don't think he's saying that at all. He's saying that humans came from Earth. By "Which they brought with them," in reference to the Valkyrie, I think he means that they brought it to the Koprulu Sector.
Although saying that the Russians took over the Earth doesn't explain why SCVs, Marines, Dropships, and Vultures have southern accents. It would explain Battlecruisers, though.
ALRIGHT. Let me give you a breif history of starcraft. I lost my book, so I'm going strictly from memory here.
In whatever year it was, techonolgy was increasing rapidly, yadda yadda yadda, to explore deep space, a program was created that sent a bunch of people out in ships cryogenetically frozen, (I assume that these people varied in race, thusly the range of accents) but Earth lost contact with the ships. So, when the ships landed in the Koprulu sector, they started building a civilization, and eventually came to learn of their origins (not sure how, but they did [General Duke knew where earth was, see the terran mission: dylarian shipyards]). Yadda yadda yadda, the confederacy formed, they killed Angus Mengsk, nuked Korhal, sons of Korhal were born, a planet (Tarsonis, maybe?) was invaded by the Zerg, Protoss eradicated all life on the planet, boom, insert original starcraft story here. After original Starcraft ended, the (Russian) EUD arrived, and took control of the terrans.
I hope that makes sense to you.
The Units in the Starcraft Ghost trailers would be more realistic than the computer game and they wouldnt have set numbers of HP. So in reality , we don't know how mny marines it would take to defeat an ultralisk.

But still just the comparison. Also I dont get it. Why did the general tell them not bring siege tanks!?!? couldnt they just siege tank the zerg base then mass battlecruisers and marines?
Addition: In the korea league video they mean business. 4medics and 1 marine fought off like 10 zerglings. But now I learned a new stratdgey. Whenever your gona finish off a player make sure to block the exits by building stuff there so scvs, probes, drones cant escape.
SlayerS_`BoxeR` for the win! My fav sc player! Hes the dude that blinded 8 observers with 8 medics that were dropped off and he was the guy that lifted the 4 barracks into the enemies base. He has godly marine micro.

1) It takes a heckuva lot of Gauss Rifle hits to bring down an Ultra. Assume fully upgraded, the Ultra has 6 armor and the Marines have 9 attack. So that's 3 damage a hit, and the Ultra recovers bits of its 400 HP. Wow, I need something better to do in my time...
2) The Siege Tank thing is probably just that he's an arrogant pig. He didn't like the idea of reinforcements at all.
3) That strategy you mentioned: I learned that a while ago. One of my friends (he's not very good) will, once he's losing, run all his SCVs out of his base and start building Missile Turrets and Supply Depots in random places all over the map. It's the most annoying thing ever. Hunting down and killing all of the stuff takes about as long as destroying his actual base in the first place...
Omg, that Ghost video is so cool, I wonder if they're going to make it like Alien Vs Predator 2 that you can play each race in FPS and they have all different abilities and stuff.
I wonder if there is anyone man enough on SEN to challenge a korean to a game of starcraft....

me and wesmic did a 2 vs 2 LT on asia once... it wasn't a good idea though...
Ok lets move off the topic of starcraft Ghost. THat Starcraft Korean league makes me proud but makes me feel I'm a disgrace to the country lol. but anyway the Have you seen the Pro Gamer's screen when they play? You can never focus on one unit for more than 0.5 seconds. They are always jumping around at the speed of light giving commands.
Korea once did a Tourney against Japan, and they pwned him. NOt a single Korean pro gamer lost against the Japan. Well actually the #1 japan player beat a few korean pro gamers but the others pwned him.
Anyway you see Zerg getting pwned in that video but that was in 2005. I heard in 2006 the pro gamers using Zerg to pwn others. The rise of the Zerg eh.
Well that's my speech.
ADDITION:
I could prolly find a friend in korea to challenge them though lol

Well the reason why they can jump units so fast is because they hotkey all the way up to 9 and 0 keys.
I love the happy face on the one marine's armour.

Easy explanation. I set that Ultralisk's stats to 9999 in everything in the Map Editor.
And on a different note; That firebat was so raped
That trailer about Starcraft Ghost was the same as Blizzard realesed, only the it was shorter and had music to it. I just noticed that, maybe I'm just behind the times. >.>

My friend once beat a Korean at Starcraft. I'm about equal with him, so maybe I should challenge that kid myself...
Actually, it was pretty funny one day when we were playing after school. Three of my friends, one of the teachers, and a Korean were playing. The Korean Carrier rushed everyone. It was kind of sad--they banded together and still couldn't stop the Carrier power...
On the plus side, that WAS the game where I got to hear my friend yell "WHY ARE YOU BUILDING RANDOM CRAP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BASE?" at the teacher.
