I'm trying to make whenever a unit attack something, it will make a sound that I want in the wav file and also be able to not hear the normal unit shooting/attacking sound, anyone know how I can do it?

There is the EUD Ammo method. I think the EUD offsets were scrambled with the latest patch. I'll find the thread for you though that gives you the basic idea.

You could make all the enemies one-hit-kills, use killscore to detect when the player shot something, and then play the sound.
You could mute the normal shooting sounds with the Mute Unit Speech trigger, but it will mute other things as well.

There's really no way to do it without EUD conditions, if your wanting a serious map, since 1 hit every kill wouldn't be very fun, you could try using the defiler gun system used in RUSH

vhp can detect when you hit the enemy so just use that. but if its simple marine shoot at hydra you cant unless tis a hit kills

Like the other guy said, you can have burrowed units via VHP. You can make the Burrowed units die in 1 hit, then regenerate. Everytime 1 burrowed unit dies, trigger the sound.

Getting that on multiple computer units would be tough though.

Download and install the BW Sound Utility, then change the bullet sound of your unit at c:\program files\starcraft\sound\bullet.

And even if modded sounds run on Battle.net (I'm not sure, but I know modded graphics do), only people running the mod will be able to see the changes; other people will have the default sounds/images.
