i was trying to save one of my maps and some msg appeared
could not be writed or something like that
that usally happens when i try to save it when im in that map but i wasnt

Can always try to do alt+ctrl+del and look at processes to make sure starcraft.exe isn't running...

If you are hosting the game on Starcraft then you can't re-write the file when it's in use. Just close the current game that you are in. If that's not the problem then it's just some bug usually in X-tra Editor. Just ignore it because if you check the last modified time for the file, it is still being saved.

Also, if you are using the MPQDraft plugin "SCMLoader", you can't modify the map although you are not in the game. To solve this, just create a game with a different map, or quit Starcraft alltogether.

also if you have the starcraft game minimized but your looking at the map your saving it wont save.

If you have used StarForge (I don't know if any others do it), it sometimes causes this. If it is StarForge (or other), it will say that but it will write. To fix this, just open it in WinMPQ (if you have it.. otherwise its pretty pointless to download it for one map) and delete "(listfile)"; do not delete anything else.

after i tried to save it in X-tra it started to say taht message
