Free MMORPG are very popular right now even if you don't have to pay for the instalation, I decided to create this topic after I downloaded Conquest Online to which I got trough thanks to a post in this section. We should all share our Free MMORPG sites so that we can all have 100% satisfaction

^It's a demo of a car racing game thats the most REALISTIC car game I ever played, there is also trillions of verieties of how you can set up your car, you can even choose pressure for your tires and things like with how much fuel you start out the race, you really should check it out

^It's a strategy game where you build up your own nation from where you research fire to where you research nanotechnology, there is also millions of things that you can research but you can't research them all, you have to choose like 1 out of 3 things to research and you fight other nations, millions of people play it.

^It's a text based Free MMORPG, It's a strategy where you build up your planet just to fight other planets, you can also choose an alliance that will help you in bad times and good times, its more of a team game but you should really check it out.

^A MMORPG based in the Silk Road (I think). Basically there are quests, etc., but the interesting part are the classes you can choose from. You can be traders with caravans, hunters, thiefs, etc.

Runescape is the worst thing ever made. it's like if every emo on MySpace got programmnig skills, made a game, played, made it pointless, made bad graphics, and started female dogy about it.

Also, my hatered of Runescape is not opinion. It's can cause bodily harm and social exclusion, beleive me. I've seent eh cool kid become an outcast in 2-6 weeks.

Last chaos (www.lastchaos.com) is a pretty old school mmorpg, but with great graphics, and a weapons upgrading system, as well as what appears to be in depth crafting. Definitly at least worth a try.

I agree completly about runescape being a terrible game, there really isn't any excuse for playing it when there are so many better free alternatives.

I enjoyed Runescape when I did play it.

I had nothing else to do, not many games run well on my older computers.. =\

Word. The majority of the players is running around asking 'plz give me gp'. GP what a stupid name for money in a game. And there are so many automatic playing players there that just run from scripts.

Poorest mmorpg. Despite the fact that I believe MMORPG's are more addicting and dangerous for your social life than some of the drugs out there.

Runescape Owns, most of the people that give bad reviews or chat bull about it is because they are either too NOOB or lazy to actually understand the gameplay, the money aint called GP its ...GOLD... i would actually respect your comments on it if you actually knew the game propperly but seem as you dont, why chat about it?

I would respect your comments if you weren't an egotistical prick. Noob or lazy to understand the gameplay? I've played Runescape. It was boring. You sit there and level up pointlessly while the ugly graphics rape your corneas, the lag gives you distorted perception of time, and all the retards trading and asking for stuff scream and you with their massive killing of the english language. The money may be called gold, but it's still unoriginal and people still ask for GP, Gold Points/Pieces. I know the game just fine. I've seen people sit there and talk at school for 3 hours about how, "Omg I got this 1337 full rune armour and whip. Now I'll pwn even more n00bs." I hate Jagex with a firey passion that will never die.

Lol after I reached lvl 101 Combat and over 70 in all other stats even farming and was a Legend (did most likely all quests back then) I really got bored because I didn't see why I had to click on one and the same spot a thousand times to reach another level in a skill. But yeah I don't know what I'm talking about.

And instead of improving the game they just started to make it worse and worse. I mean when they brought 'CAMO' outfit I was like yeah, Runescape is dead. Another useless thing to wear for the noobs that doesn't even fit the games theme.

So well, I was pretty far and all but I sold my character on ebay, even though thats against Jagex rules, they can .... me

And the fact that I was in the top 10'000 overall shows that I really knew what I did. But to be fair if you have a total skill of 1300+ levels (might be at 1400 now because of new skills?) you're just there clicking and clicking and clicking not reaching anything (instead of getting richer to buy some leet dragon stuff to look like a nerd).

But to be fair I wouldn't ever touch any MMORPG again because you will really lose your social life if you wan't to become someone in these games. Look at all the 4 million 'lost' WOW souls and I know some of them but never meet them again outside their houses.

Better stick with starcraft or shooters and a little dose of reallife and realize that games were invented to entertain you, not to make you work and build another 'identity'.

And I know mapping is work too but compare reaching lvl 81 in a skill in Runescape with making a map and you will see that making a map is nothing against it and you really have something out of it. A nice map made by you to play with others. Not only these and that items and levels to show off how often you clicked one and the same spot or killed one and the same monster.

Hmmm Putting it that way you have a point, but you must admit, from the time it took you to get to level 100+ you was enjoying it, just because you maxed out most of your stats it got boring for you, and i undertand, but for thge other people that haven't its still a fun game, to me its a game in which time makes you better, how long did it take you to 100+? more than a year right? well not that i play runescape often now, because of all de dam hackers, but, thinking of it it isnt that bad of a game if you like spending hours doing nuthing.... and as for the lost souls, well that is up to them right? i play games yet still have a social live, i dont sit at my computer 24/7, it is up to people to controll how much they play this sort of games, you cant really blame the gamemakers for that can you?... and as fo lag, i have never ever experienced it...EVER lol, i recon is a problem with your nternet speed, not the game.

Runescape isnt that great of a game, i used to watch my bro play it. He eventually switched to WoW because it got boring for him (at least thats what he said)

I'd go with maple story if i ever wanted to actually play a MMORPG, im content with wc3 for now though

the thing I hate is that some people hate runescape and have never even played it. I personally dont give a freak if the graphics suck some of the newer items are getting better. I dont know what your talking about lag eather ive only seen it in a trading world with like 1900 people in it.



Runescape is far from dead it might possibally have more players than starcraft does
