I have 3 favorite units, one from each race. I will post them in order of most liked.
My top favorite unit is a Goliath because they are pwnage. They have their Hellfire missiles that can take down carriers and battlecruisers with their incredible air or they can remove mass ground units with their heavy machine guns. They also have legs and I just think that is plain out awesome.
My second favorite is the Archon. I have always been a fan of electricity and these original looking blue cloud things with a guy in the middle of it is awesome. His attack is a powerful bolt of lightning that has splash, can attack air or ground, and excellent damage. The only problem is that it is a close-medium ranged attack,
My third favorite is the Lurker. I am a fan of stealth and heavy damage at the same time. They are fun to use in many ways. My favorite way is massing them at the entrance of my base and having an unexpecting enemy mass me. They have a ranged attack with excellent splash. Unless you're up against air, you can't go wrong with these guys.

Uh, I like the battlecruiser for obvious reasons, but I also like the ghost (stealthy aspect) and the dark archon (to stop attacks and to turn their powerful units to my side).

In no particular order:

Medic: Most influential BW unit. I can't imagine playing Terran without Medics. Healing allows you to make Marines last about three times as long as normal, Restoration gets rid of Parasites and such, and Optical Flare pwns detectors.
Kind of amusing...my favorite units seem to be Terran, and I play mostly 'Toss...they aren't even on the list...

These three units I like because:
1. They look cool
2. They each have multiple things that can be used in triggers.
Hydra's have burrow/morph.
SCV's have repair/build/carry things/mine
Ghosts have cloak/lockdown/nuke
Its weird though because overall, protoss is my favorite race...

definately the dark archon, I especially like games where you get endless energy, and I run around taking down entire bases with one unit using MC, just MCing anything that comes near.
Civs were also used in Ground Zero, when they flee the supply depots.

My favorite unit would have to be the hydra, I like to use them, they spit, they can be stacked. I just like using them, if they arent good in the UMS i am plaing in, possible the rine or archons.
