Ok here's my problem guys, I'm making a defence, I'm using the flag beacon trick to place my bunker where I want on my map... It works very well until the "map settings" create the god damn flag on it! I knew a trick to fix it, but I can't remember it! I tryed to move it, create another beacon, disable, remove/kill the flag, but it still don't work! I kinda quit b.net, so I didnt touch a map since almost 1 year, so I'm running out of ideas! If anyone could help me... I would realy appreciate it and of course your name will be on my map's credits. thanks for your help!

After whatever length of time (10-15 minutes?) a flag is created on the beacon and it's teleport ability is permanently disabled. There is no way to prevent this from happening.

You sure about that Kenoli? Because SWW already made a map using this trick, but I can't remember if he fixed the problem or not...

And what SWW knows will never be learned because he quit SC and someone stole his name.

SWW used the beacons in a few maps, but nothing special happens. When time is up the beacons lose their ability.

In Binary (Spawn Def), after time is up, you can still place bunkers by building supply depots with your SCV.
In Beacon Defense, the game ends before time is up.

I believe the time elapsed for the flags to appear is 15 game minutes.

It's 10 minutes on the countdown timer. Or at least it was when I played a Capture the Flag game on battle.net. I've heard rumors of this trick, but I don't think it would actually work.
