Well i havent really played starcraft in a long time, i started playing again, as i dont like malee that much i only mainly play ums, but some of the maps are way too cliche, defences, evolves... etc etc, to me the only real original games are rpgs, but i dont have many, as i lost most of all my maps, any of you guys recomend a good rpg thatl keep me entertained?
this topic does belong here right? because there is a malee general discussions but no ums generals discussions, they should make one...

ya, i agree about creating a general UMS discussion. anyhow, you should check out Death Knights 3 in the DLDB, its quite a map.

DKIII was quite good but glitchy at some parts

I never played rush couldn't be bothered and when i tried playing with lethal it lagged so i just left.

Wizard Wars would be funner if it actually had more to it.

In general all rpg's on SC suck... only a few good ones.

DK3 is probably the best SC RPG out there now. CD is looking pretty good. My friend's working on an Open RPG, but it's nowhere near done.

Take your advice; just report the thread, so it can be moved, don't try and take it into your own hands.

And; heh, remembered playing Winterglades with you and several SeNers.

LOL i thought he wasnt a mod... yeah i been playing DeathKnights 3 with a friend, its AWSOME, although both of us just sometimes drop out, but is the only glitch weve encountered. what a huge map, mustav taken the maker weeks...
i will download all of them from that list, hmm nightmare rpg is good, just too many noobs that dont know how to play it out ther but, yeah!

Hey, i been playing deathnights, but i cant seem to find 1 rain crystal i found 3 by the towns were is the 4rth????

Ditto. Legacy of Haean was incredibly well made. But it can take a long time.

The easiest ones to get into are Legends and Quest Open Rpg, so if you're looking for quicker, fast-paced games, that's what you want.

But, yeah.. most RPG's on SC end up being crap... There are alternatives, though. The Commandoes maps were really fun, but hardly anyone ever uses them anymore..

My favorite RPG so far is the FFVII RPG by Killer2001. I liked the random battle system, upgrade system, money/materia system, and of course, the party/choosing character system.

Also, below that is the 'So it begins' RPG, which includes an equipment system, an ACTUAL storyline, an INTERESTING storyline, and the feel of a real RPG in which you might describe as Final Fantasy.

Anyway, to wrap it all up, ALL REAL RPGS (not Crash RPG, ect.) are on my favorite's list, but I may have to search for them and then put them all on a list...after testing them all...eh, that might take a while.

If you're looking for a good story, then I highly recommend PGConquerer's map: The Honourless. It's one of my favorites.

Also, rumor has it that the RPG levels and the overall storyline in The Saga of Doodan are good as well.

Both recommendations are single player.
