in monopoly bound.. right in the beginning there are units attacking without targets... how do you do that?

They are probably just attacking burrowed units thats you don't have vision of. I haven't played monopoly bound, so I wouldn't know for sure.

but every time when you play the map, they are facing different directions.

They are disabled units. They aren't attacking anything, they just look like they are attacking a unit.
