Try using sprites that are more appropriate, I mean you wouldn't find a shrub on pavement would you? Just try finding a sprite that has a better matching color or fits in with the scene. Or you can make better blends. tongue.gif

Try blending the Temple pieces on to the top and put grass and stuff and for the bottom you can sorta hide it with a few rock sprites and blend it with some cliffs I dunno =/ [ Add: I meant the first one not the second one =/ ]

For the first one, you a variation of sprites. I guess the shrub sprites are ok, but make sure that you use all 3 or 4 of them; not just 1 type. Also, make sure they dont look like they are in a straight line, spred them out to make them look like they are growing naturally; this may need you to include some grass on the bottem.

For the second one, you can also add some rocks or trees. But dont just put them in a line. Put them other places and have them coving the area you need covered.

EDIT: on a closer look, i noticed that for the first picture you used the bridge but left the water at the bottem. You can use the temple walls and the bridge top and they look almost the same. Plus, it gets rid of the water.

sprites..unless you have to add them..it seems like a lack of effort..there is no blend whatsoever in the pics..terrain requires blend for it to be good (in a sense) otherwise the terrain cannot reach full potential

This is extended that borders on tile smashing because it uses no blending whatsoever from what i can see. I suggest you look into the tileset index or even basic ISOM in order to find some simple blends. I believe that these 2 SS places can be easily fixed. Some one get wooden in here.

This is basically going to help you for the first one. To get more of a bridge feel, simply add ruins tiles instead of highdirt to the bridge section.

The second picture you have up there has a few different options. You can either keep massive blockiness where the temple reaches highdirt, for there is no known walkable connection between the two tile sections, or you can abandom the temple tops and modify it to the same as your first bridge, which will make blending a whole lot more realistic...

More help can be found inperson on WoodenFire@USEast.

The Temple to Dirt terrain is interesting, but there appears to be no blend to patch them together. So dont try messing with that tongue.gif

The Bridge on top (#1) is quite blocky. Try to cut and paste random tiles of terrain and see if they look nice. Besure to place the bushes out farther appart so they look realistic, and not like some mutant plant (unless thats what you were trying to do...)

(#2) is to, annoying. You cant join temple with high dirt because there are no signifigant blends. Try attaching normal dirt to water to high dirt, it would look arverage, but if people see it, it looks better than just one blotch of white dirt, then brown dirt, then all of a sudden OMFG!!! ITS GREEN lol (Keep Trying though biggrin.gif )

(#3 The Entire Minimap) nice combo effects just fix the few ugly spots on the bases and you should be fine...

first you take the case of your computer.
Next you find your hardrive and carefully take it out of your computer.
Proceed to your driveway and set it down very gently on the pavement.
Then you must run over it with a car.
Stomping will do just as well

Excuse me, good sir, but that post you made seems a tad useless. One might call it spam. I'm not sure if you are quite aware of this, but that is a punishable offense on our website.

That aside, WoodenFire is correct. The second blend is not possible.

That's not a blend, that's a cover up.

make a peice of water terrain (yes just one isom block)
take the two ends (or any other parts that can merge and look realistic) and fuse them
