Omen of Rebirth

A ten-mission campaign following you (as Protoss War Tribune) and Praetor Kelaris as you go up against an enemy who isn't all that he appears...

Specifications

-Players
1-player.

-Map tileset
All over the place.  I used every tileset at least once.

-Map size
All sorts of sizes.  This template doens't work that well for campaigns...

Storyline / Introduction

When a Terran science outpost is attacked by the Zerg, Aiur is suddenly under siege.  Although this immediate threat is soon defeated, Kelaris wants to look into this matter further...

Features

-Player Interface
Click units and tell them where to go. tongue.gif

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
The storyline branches after mission 3, and you choose whether you want to side with the Conclave or with a mysterious rebel organization.

A modification works with, and is somewhat necessary for,  three missions in the storyline. (7b, 10a, 10b.)

Two/Three movie maps included as part of the storyline (number depends on which side you choose.)

Details

-Characters
Praetor Kelaris: a soldier
You: the Protoss War Tribune
Judicator Axon and Judicator Seral: Heads of the Protoss Conclave
Luna Iriden: a Terran scientist
Emperor Galt: Ruler of the Terran Imperium
The Progenitor: Who knows?
The Progenitor's Second: A short-tempered warrior with an indecent love of quotes from Shakespeare

-Weapons
Psi Blades
Phase Disruptor
Gauss Rifle
etc.

-Spells
Psionic Storm
EMP Shockwave
This template REALLY doesn't go too well with campaigns.

I played the first mission, it just seems like there could have been more to do in that much time.

-edit/add: I do admit I like the idea of having alternate storylines to follow for a compaign, but it could be hard to follow if the following isn't strong. You should say which maps to use to follow the 2 alternate storylines at the end of the map where the story actually splits. Good concepts but I think the first map in your campaign could use some beefing, haven't played others.

The first map's supposed to be easy and leave you with plenty of time left. And later, the maps are labelled to reflect each branch--play up to the split and then you'll see, since each level shows its name at the beginning of the briefing.
