That stuff leaked out awhile ago. Something that suggested Assasin's Creed was going to be a 360 game, but Ubisoft gave the generic we don't comment on rumors response. So this just means that it is true after all.\

Ubisoft isn't the biggest publisher... EA is. They've dominated the football game market with that 5 year exclusive contract with the NFL.

Each company have their ways for getting money. Basically they make it for two different consoles which more ppl will buy because they will be available for the 360, and PS3. So people with 360 wont need to buy a PS3 to play the game. Their basically trying to get more money by spreading it into a different console.
