As we all know, bounds are 1 day maps. They can be made in 1 single day because they are so damn simple.

Now I see people are starting production threads about bounds. these "mapmakers" are probably just to lazy to finnish their damn bounds in time. Here a bound thread posted 2 months ago.

Why the hell should it take 2 months to make a bound instead of 1 day? I don't know but I can sure say that these threads are nothing but spam. Because apparently the bounders aren't actually working on them as it takes so long time. And after all, it's just another bound in the black thousands.

Naw. If it's a one day map let it filter down through the threads list by getting few replies.

Yes but for some reason people are posting there. And that takes away feedback from people who are actually working on real maps.

Let the people do whatever the hell they want. What right do you have to say that they can't post whatever map they want.

Since when do bounds take one day to make? Sure it's simple to make, but the triggering and debugging takes much longer than you think (If you don't believe me, try making a bug free ten level bound without making it impossible or too easy.).

I'm not telling to not make bounds anynore, sure waste your time. I say thet they don't need a production thread.

I dislike bounds as well, but I don't think it's right to prohibit production threads about bounds... have you tried Bound2Bleed? I was pleasantly suprised, it was a fun and original map.

What about if Bolt_Head showed up and created a production thread for Level Up Bound?

Regardless of the quality of the maps or how easy they are to make, the author still deserves ot have a thread, and who are we to say that they don't deserve it.

I agree with Tuxedo, if it's not an original map worthy of a thread, it will soon disappear because it won't get any replies. Perhaps the map you linked to has so much feedback because, heaven forbid, it's actually a good map?

You campaign against elitism, but isn't it elitist to tell people they can't make a thread just because you don't think that their map is original based on your assumptions?

Maybe someone doesnt want to waste their day making a bound? And heck, have you seen the bound? He's taken alot of time into it to make it better than other bounds that took like 3 hours and have nothing....

And usually they dont take 1 day. I mean maybe if its a noob bound.

Last time I checked, bounds came in SCM/SCX format and could be dissassembled into a CHK. So yes, I think they are real maps.

There is no reason to prohibit bounds from the Production forum simple because you dislike them and feel they might be stealing prominence from a map you are making. If your map is so obviously better than this "rifraff" then it should stand out anyway.

This seems more like you're taking out your anger on bounds rather than making a serious suggestion, but either way no.
