Traditionally, these movies sucked. You all know about the upcoming Halo movie being produced by the fantastic Peter Jackson, but I just learned today that Metal Gear Solid is now in production. Could we at last see games become a real source of inspiration for the cinematic aspect that they all strive towards (in a different fashion) anyway?

There's Over the Hedge. and some classics into video games.

And even Indiana Jones.

I think we should be fine with any videogame movie unless Uwe Boll directs it.

If that happens, time to be heading into the good old bomb shelter.

Metal Gear Solid already has a movie mode, although some people can't read so I guess taking away all of the text inbetween the grainy cinematics is the way to go.

I wish Kojima would make a Snatcher movie, though.
