How can I order a single computer player inside a location to attack specifically one type of unit? For instance, I want wraiths at 'Location1' to attack my bunker at 'Location1' but ignore the marines around it. At the same time, another group of wraiths at 'Location2' should attack specifically my Command Center at 'Location2' and again ignore units and other buildings nearby.
Ive tried the random suicide mission script trigger but it doesn't work the way I want. While the wraiths do attack my bunker, they'll still sometimes attack the marines around it. Another problem with the script is that wraiths from 'Location2' won't attack the closest units they encounter but rather randomly pick any units on the map, including the ones at 'Location1' which they should leave in peace.
If anyone has an idea on how I can achieve this, please share your knowledge.
I hate to say this... but I don't think you can do what you're trying. You could have different players to attack different areas, but your bunks and command centers would have to be owned by different players. And random SM means they attack different things strat. SM means they all attack one structure.
Actually, come to thank of it, if you make all sorrounding units invincible until the bunks are dead, the comps will ignore them.
My only suggestion was if you marines don't have to be in the bunker and you want the bunkers destroyed is to give the bunkers to a neutral player and just have the wraiths attack the bunker at location 1 owned by neutral player....again I don't know the circumstances of your map to know if the marines need to be in the bunker or if you want them destroyed!
And what laser said about the invincibilty is another way of doing it!
I'd also recommend having the marines or bunker owned by another player that the computer is allied to, or having the marines be invincible.
