Storyline / Introduction


Story?? who needs a story(this might be named Space rpg Conquest
but the only "rpg" you will be doing in this map is killing for cash
and upgrading ), All u know at the begining is that ur town
is under attack, u have a gun so what do you do?? well u shoot the
hell out of those squeeky little Beasts. Soon after u find out that the
squeeky little Beasts arent so little and Squeeky. The story it isnt my
biggest priority right now, i want to get the map up and working
before i get focused on that.

Gameplay is pretty basic at its core, Defend your town, kill the hive to
stop the attack .Then u get to go in space and go from planet to planet
(this sounds cheezy but u are still defending your town  tongue.gif) , fighting off
pirates and assaulting pirate defensive stations .When u get control of a
planet,(one that you buy) u can start to plan how you are going to get
all the planets (total of 9 planets & 6 Outposts) working
as a team or alone(backstabbing or declaring war) can be done,
and there are many ways to make money:

-Mining: when u get control of a planet or outpost u get minerals and a
command center

-Killing: killing any unit computer or human gives money

-Trading "robots"(goons and reavers)(have any better ideas they are welcome)
(all my renamed powerups are used already btw)

With the money you make you can buy planets or outposts, wich can
be used to mine, but be carefull who you choose as your allies,
backstabbing is allowed in this game.

-What are the advantages of spending 250000 to buy a planet?
Production Center to mine minerals, Barracks to create Invasion
forces/engineers/medics/special forces, Starport to create Ships,
Hangar to repair your damaged ships, Robot Maker (for Robot).

well, this is a forum, so it does take a few hours before you can expect many replies. so jsut be patient. sprucing up your map with colors and such doesn't hurt either


i'd like to see an effective computer allying system, where the computer will adapt to the presence of a human ally and coordinate attacks with it(such as flanking, a distractionary attack, or combine their troops for a massive head on attack)

Those "-What's new in your map that others have not done before?", im pretty sure theres been maps with those features.

Right, this is totally unoriginal. The concept is cheesy, and there's nothing new about your map except for the fact that you're actually advertising it and am making it. And just because you have ONE RPG concept, does not neccessarily make the gameplay half-rpg-ish.

Also, this is merely a hack-n-slash game, like Mini Town Defense, or Diablo 2 RPG. Instead of making a map like this, and wasting your time, why don't you just go and play those crappy maps?

Totally unoriginal.

You need to learn how to spell (aside from the map).

Copying concepts.


Three reasons (which fall under the same category), why I would NOT want to play your map. Your stupidity (excuse my language) is getting to me.

At least I have a right to give you constructive critism. If it looks like flame, I am merely helping you in an aggravated form.

You're defending from massive units using a role of a unit.

THAT is hack-n-slash.
