Ok, I'm new here, and I'm not sure if there is a post somewhere already referring to this...
I've been making maps for a long time, never fully released any, just played with my close friends who also make maps, so I DO know how to write triggers.
Now then, I had an idea for a map, and it was great looking so I tried to put it together. Then I find out, stacking the units would be much better then just having them all bunched up, it would also give it a shadowy effect, of multiple units attacking on 1 spot. So I asked a friend of mine how I could pull this off, or where I can find out how. He didn't know so he directed me here.
Sure enough, there was a tutorial on how to stack units, by Deathknight. This trigger was labelled a level 4 toughness, so I thought whatever I can pull it off.
After doing everything in his tutorial down to the T, my map just crashes when I start it.
Now I'm wondering if I'm just misunderstanding the way he wrote his trigger, because he doesn't explain all the locations and what not.
What I'm asking is if anyone has used this trigger before, and if so can they explain it to me in a more simplistic manner, or make a 64x64 and email it to me so i can see how its done.
Thanks much.

If I am understanding the Tutorial you read (which I'm probobly not) you are disabling units that crash. Here's a list of units and what happens when you disable them
Disable listIf this is doesn't help Kenoli or someone can probobly do a much better job helping...
Look at Noober/NiGGie's Stack Defense. He doesnt do it with triggers, cause you can already stack without using triggers. Unless he used EUDs....
Deathknight's tutorial allows it for not just zerg units, but any unit in the list of compatible units.
I would guess that crashing would occur by being able to view the units when they're disabled or using units not listed in the compatible list.
You simply can't stack units using triggers. Of course, you can stack air units, but ground units not so. You could get the player to stack hydras, then move em onto each other... But I don't think that's your point.
-_-
ok i understand you can stack units without triggers.
but with Deathknights method, i would be able to move them with triggers keeping them stacked, and having them controllable.
i want to use this for my UMS map. It's an rpg.
I planned on having a multi slash skill for the assassin character.
where it would be 1-5 stacked DT's under the main assassin character.
this would cause it to look like hes attacking multiple times.
i wanted to keep them centered on him while he moves so it only looks like 1 unit.
and i have tried with the units on the list.
as i said, i followed every instruction properly.
my guess is this trigger doesnt work anymore, or never did.
and im still wondering, has anyone ever managed to pull this trigger off.
and if so can you please explain it.
thanks
