There is this certain map that if i join it i crash after the breifings, then if i host and not player 1 i crash.. but if i host and player 1 im fine.. does any1 know what causes this?? i would get some1 to upload the map when he can.. There are hundreds of things that can cause a map to crash.
No point in anyone taking random guesses at it. You'll need to post the map for us to solve the problem.

"build time 0 for units" crashes windows ONLY
the problem its having is its only a mac bug..
I can play it when im host and player 1.. why can i only play it as that?? then sprites shouldnt matter.. cuz they would be there anyway..
I use Mac OS 9.2.2
Maybe it has something to do with starforge.....
Or maybe it just can't handle the map
what about units that do 0 (not really) dmg?....
Now you can upload it, the uploads WERE fixed
when i upload it makes it an invalid starcraft file, so you can't play it.. so uploading will be pointless, unless that is what your saying is fixed..
er.. i can play AI lurker defense so, 0 dmg is fine. this isn't a normal crash thing.. if im the host and player 1 i dont crash, meaning it wont be just a small normal thing. it will be something else..
Upload it anyway. The invalid file thing you're talking about is probably a file header that gets tacked on on macs sometimes, but all you have to do is remove the first 128 bytes of the file.
If you join the game when you're player 1, does it still crash? Does the same thing happen to other people?
Crashes:
Join as any player,
Host as not player 1
Non crash:
Host as player 1
and ONLY I crash.
Player 1 doesnt have any invalad units right? Each player only has their hero and the upgrades and spells in the upper left so i dont think thats the case. Is there any overlap text? one of my games people cant join cause i got overlap in it.
Just ask Urine if you can PM the map to a few people to try and figure out why you crash. I'm sure he would want everyone to be able to play his map.
You can trust most people at SEN, but I'm sure that Urine wouldn't want it available for everyone to download. the map size is not standard (i mean the squares, eg: 128x128 is one standard) , that can cause crashes sometimes.
have u used sprites, which player 1 can see after starting the game?
(some people can't play my X-i Def cause of that.... one guy crashd 3 times in a row...)
map is normal size, i thought sprites don't work anymore.
