Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Sprite Limit

Ok, I was making a map for the constest (forest theme) and happily placing trees to make my forest. After completeing about a quarter of the trees, I got a sprite limit error. Is there any way to override this? If not, is there a different way to places "trees" without affecting the sprite count?

ADDITION: It is no longer a problem, I changed my map from 192[sup]2[/sup] to 128[sup]2[/sup] and used my strings more carefully.

If you're making the map using some editor like SCMDraft, you can change the master settings to allow more sprites on the map, although the game can only handle something in the 1000's. If you already changed the sprite limit on your map, I'm pretty sure there's no way to add a tree without a sprite, since the sprite is everything except the trunk.

Ok, I guess 1000 strings would be a problem though, involving fire freezing, I managed to get it to look good on a 128x128 map, with my 250 strings.
