I know how grids work when using Overlords, but I'm wondering if they can be done with Scourges as well on a smaller scale. I'm making a small randomized maze on my latest map and I want to give the players only 1 tile worth of space to get through it. Yet when I made the grid using Scourges, it didn't work.
So now I'm wondering if you just can't do it with Scourges or if I'm doing something wrong.

You can't make a perfect grid with scourges. You can make a circle grid I believe by creating a scourge and then an observer and then continuing on repeating that. Test different units with this map.

Ah okay. Basically I used the Random Path trigger system to make the path. It normally uses a grid with Overlords, but since I needed a smaller path (with 1x1 as opposed to 2x2 blocks) I attempted to do it with Scourges. Hmm oh well. Now I've got to think of a whole new way.
Thanks for the link, though.

Only creating scourges won't give you a perfect grid, but creating a scourge, then observer, then scourge, etc, creates a perfect grid that's a square.

Okay cool, thanks guys. I'll try it and then post my results here.
EDIT: Actually using 9 Medics as opposed to a Scourge and then an Observer continuously worked better. Thanks anyway, guys.
