ok I've been seeing alotta multi-story terraining and I want to know how to do it. Even though I read glytcher's tutoral I really cant seem to get the hang of it and its really complex. Can somone just first go over the basics of multi-story terraining for me?

Basically you put water next to whatever cliff you want to make it double stories, then you find matches of cliff to go with the water, heres a good tutorial:
