I am aware there are at least a thousand topics for this subject, and normally I would not post one seeing as how I can cloak things perfectly fine. Just this time I have stumbled onto a few problems that completely boggle my mind, and I don't have much tylenol to waste on this headache it is giving me.
I know I am using some units that the tutorial (which I don't much care for, so I made my own lists) says will never work, but I have screenshot proof that they can work.
[attachmentid=21248] Cloaked, no problems at all.
[attachmentid=21249] Crash.
I used the same tileset, as I have found in the past that effects what will and won't crash. Was I wrong? Is there more to it? The only major two differences in the map are what terrain is placed and the map size.
Oh, I almost forgot. Wow, how are you cloaking those, just disable or the disable enable enable trick?
Ill try testing some stuff, maybe patch 1.14 changed some things that people havent discovered yet?
i got a question, you obviously can cloack them but can you move them and use them and everything?
Oh yeah. I forgot to mention the method I used...

It isn't 1.14, because thoes screenshots were taken while I was typing the post. And obviously by the first screenshot, it does work... just not when I want it to. Did you test that offline or on?
Units respond differently to disable when you are offline
I always test on Battle.net. And both maps were played the same way, as I said the only difference is its a different size and terrain setup.
ADDITION:
Ok, I am even more confused now. If I add a trigger to cloak it and then allow me to select it with group-hotkeys and tell it to walk into view, it does not crash. So I tried adding an extra wait with extra time and another set of ORDER triggers, but it still crashes.
What is confusing me the most is some make it crash the instant the game starts.
It seems very unstable, so it would probably be best not to attempt anything with it unless you are doing it with a complete map
Well, I do need it in my map. I guess I will just randomly play around until I find something stable, or at least more stable.
I will leave this open just in case some magical person has a specific answer to the problem. If nobody does, the topic dies on its own.
EDIT:
I got it to work by adding an extra Order trigger, but it still crashes with protoss units. In the test map I used this method worked with them... Bah, it's too unstable...
