Alright so I was thinking that I wanted to make a map, Ive never been any good mapper and now I havent touched a mapping program in ages so it will probably suck hard.

Te kind of map I'm goin to try to make is some kind of adventure map with some wierd story I think. I really think I suck at mapping so my goal is to make such a wierd story so noone will notice the lack of mapping skills

Idont know why I'm posting about this since it probaly never will become even a playable map but maybe you people can giv me some tips or something since I don't really know how I want this map made.

I might be able to actually help you, like with triggers. It could be a duel mapping project. I'm not too good with storylines, so you could do that, and I the triggers!

Why don't you take one of the video tutorials found in the download section on this site? If you don't plan to make the map professional and all it will be is an emarrasment... don't do it. Maybe no one will notice your lack of mapping skills... but they will notice some sort of lack in plotting skills.

well since this is my forst try at a real mapping project I actually want to try the mapping myself, no offence I just feel that way, also when i used to map myself some ages ago (well actually just maybe 6 months) I mapped with a friend at it never really worked

Anyway I decided to make the map in space terrain since I want some kind og wierd science fiction map so I'm starting to make the intro now.

edit: about the post above, well ive seen them all, also ive read most of the amterial thats on this site and most threads since the beggining and I hope that will help me alot .
