Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> OK, why is this happening?

I don't recall putting ANY trigger in that reduces building health, yet when I build a pylon or cannon, their health is reduced to like 10%. That happens, and also, every time I click on one that is warping in Starcraft crashes. What is causing these two phenomena?

is their build time like 1 or 0 seconds? or they have a huge amount of health? cause that will result in reduced health. i'm not sure if that would also cause crashing.

Warp gate? Eh? I mean that every time I click on a Photon Cannon or Pylong or anything that is warping in on Protoss the game crashes. And I REALLY doubt I have health triggers as:

1) I don't recall making them
2) My map has no reason for them
3) I can't find them in my triggers

It's weird, I know some things make maps crash like Terran Marker (I thought I'd see what that did) and other units, but I've never had it crash because I clicked on something warping in.

Also, how come in a map I've played every time I built a Nydus Canal is crashed?




Oh, and they have 5000 health with 2500 shields.

And the build time is 1, just like every other map I've played with instant builds.

EDIT: The build time WASN'T 1! I'm using X-tra AND SCMDraft as X-tra is easier to do unit settings with, and with it it usually changes build time to 1 if you input 0, maybe I THOUGHT I was using X-tra while using SCMDraft.

Anyways have you ever modded campain editor or are u using starforge?

EDIT: I just saw your edit, well, then change that build time to 1 and test to see if problem is fixed

I've never modded campaign editor nor am I using Starforge. I've used Campaign Editor though, not modded it to add other features or anything if that's what you're saying.

Setting the build time to 1 in SCM Draft makes the units you build have reduced life. Just try setting the build time to something higher. BTW, if you put a build time to 0 it crashes the game. That could also be the reason for the crashing too but I've never heard of that.

Due to the nature of unit construction, units with extremely short build times (less than 8/15 of a second and so) can not accumulate all of their HP while building, and will thus not have full HP.

Likewise, a Zerg building can be trapped forever in morphing state (uncanellable) if the build time is too fast. I believe this has something to do with the fact that iscript and hardcode actions start overlapping when the delay between starting the build and finishing it is so small.

Any unit or building with build time 0 will instantly crash upon creation.

anyways DTBK is right, the buildings dont have enough time to develop themselves.
Either lower health level or make building take longer
