hi i dont know if anyone here likes Red Faction but i find it a simply amazing game and if you havent played it you really shoulde dust off your ps2 and give it a try, simply amazing 'geo mod' which is basicly the ability to blow stuff up lol, rocks, buildings, doors, anything, you can litterally make tunnels with a rocket launcher, or mines, in many FPS before this game they lacked something like this, while the graphics arent Stunning and the other parts of the game arent all 'shiny' like the games today, no game has matched the 'geo mod' freedom this game brings, both in single player, and deathmatch.

Red Faction the first one for PS2?????, i still have a copy, i pop it in every few months and play it, the Single Player boss is so hard rofl.

Eff the playstation 2, the version on pc is waaaayyy better. (Redfaction 1 that is)
The geo mod is a lot more abundant on the PC and you can play with 31 other players, other than a total of 4....

wow its for pc!?!? i never knew that lol, i played the ps2 version alot, ill assume the pc version 'geo mod' is way better, seeing the ps2 has limited ammount you can do eventually it stops, its nice to see some replys to my subject lol i was afraid there werent any fans here, and yeah the single player coulde be kinda hard here and there, i spent most of my time finding secret rooms and what not hidden in the endless caves,etc in the game, and red faction 2, what red faction 2 theres a #2? i thought i tried to forget that horrible excuse for 'red faction 2' they claimed the 'geo mod' was more "advanced" but it was horribly messed up you coulde only blow up a few things like a door related to the mission, etc, at one point there is where you are in a tank, it drives straight thru solid concrete which is just stupid.

ive only played the demo for it. You get in a chain gun and gun down some noobs then you get it this submerine and this guys like "FOCKER! OVER HERE! IVE BEEN HOLDING THE SUB FOR YOU." and im just like wtf and i shoot him. if i go on past that, thurs some ice you breake through and some whales and junk...

I enjoyed playing Capture the Flag with my friends with that game. Good 'ol days.

the original red faction is and always will be a classic, i dont think any other game before it had such a intereactive enviroment like this, i mean u couldnt interact with EVERYTHING but u coulde pretty much blow it all up 
, red faction 2 i had been waiting for a long time to come out and when it did i rushed to buy it, they didnt have any copys so i rented it 'thank god' that i didnt waste 50$ buying it off the shelf, in original multiplayer ide tunnel all over the place w/ a rocket launcehr and make small sniping holes so i coulde pwn my naab friends from a safe spot =p
