i make alot of maps with null terrain as an edge b/c its like space i guess gives a smooth edge, i discovered i coulde build units half-on-half-off land/null and one day i was playing zerg and i noticed my creep extends off the map, and i built a hatchery half off the bottom half off the top and my units spawned from that were able to walk on the 'creep on the null' as if it were land, build as well, ide never seen such a thing before on a map, i thought ide try to come up with some new idea's new maps/uses for this terrain, i also discovered while on this creep the units can walk over any land/obstacle, as long as they go in a straight line, if you try to move it while its already off the creep it will go out of controll, also, the use of normal terrain with this creep/null will get your units stuck, you can use this in a map to make it seem as if a ground unit is a 'boat' on water or a ground unit flying through space, magma, any terrain basicly i thought ide post this up to see if anyone knew about this or otherwise, i thought it was pretty cool, its probably prett well known, but anyways, if u want to see what im talking about feel free to PM me ill show you. thx for reading ^-^
