Hey! I'm working on a map right now, and for purposes of saving time (And because I've crashed Starcraft twice already), I'd just like to know...
Which units under the "Unused" folder of Starforge can actually be viewed and selected - and destroyed - in-game? I know the Mercenary Gunship, the Cargo Ship, and the Independent Starport all function, but other than that...
I can only infer that things like "Cave" and "Cave-In" will cause an instant crash, those sound like doodads trying to function as units.
I know it might seem lazy, but I don't want to go through the trial-and-error process of crashing Starcraft a dozen times before I figure this all out - and I'd also rather not get into modding these things to make sure they're usable, especially since I have no clue how that would be done in the first place, and I'd prefer the map I'm working on to be played somewhat by people I don't know.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

You obviously haven't met deathknight...
I don't know much about which units crash and which won't, but I can tell you that all the turrets will crash. What do you need to know this for anyway?
Well, I've pretty much run out of regular units. I was hoping to add a few buildings - or at least 'monuments' - that could be seen and were a little more...well. Click-able and define-able than doodads. I'm loathe to backtrack and start changing units around for the purpose now. The Merc Gunship, Cargo Ship, and Independent Starport are already all in use, however.

The independant starport? I thought that crashed it.
all independant units crash the game, so do the cantina and cave in, the merc gun. and cargo trans. just appear as scouts, most of the other unused crash. SCXE tells you which ones crash, but I don't have it on this comp, so I can't tell you.
EDIT: no, I guess the independant starport doesn't crash it, just tested
