Staredit Network -> Miscellaneous -> Starting SC crashes my computer?

Whenever I start StarCraft my computer automatically restarts. When it does, I get the "active desktop recovery" crap. That's pretty much all I can tell you. Anyone have this problem before?

Sounds like a hardware problem, other than that I can't tell you much

I had a similar problem when I installed patch 1.14. All I did to fix the problem was update my version of Windows.

I installed 1.14 long ago... I doubt it has anything to do with that.

I've sent for Blizzard support, and I am expecting a "we can't help you" within three buisness days.

I lost my CD key...

I've heard its stored in Stardat, but the only way anybody's found for me (thanks for trying DoA) to get a t it requires StarCraft to be running. If you can help with this aspect, PM or IM me.

I've reinstalled using a new CD key (thanks Voyager) yet the problem persists. Any help?
