Also did anyone pretty well notice that nintendos consoles vs PS1 and PS2, xbox and xbox 360 that there systems are smaller.

alright you guys think that the wii will be ultimately the winner of all but there are a few factors you forgot to take into consideration.

-wii like Gamecube will probably have really really a small amount of games. You have no idea if they will start making one game a month.

-you never know if a super sweet game is realeased but like gamecube the wii might not make it into a game. Some numerous times when I was extremely disappointed that the Gamecube never had these games but Xbox and PS2. Take Star Wars Battlefront and Soul Caliber III for example.

-Nintendo practically revolves around Mario, look at the games they'll releasing so far, Mario Tennis, Mario Super soccer strikers, Mario Sports what is this world coming to? I thought Mario was a plumber trying to save a princess with boweser. I was significantly disappointed at the lack of games they're relasing and the gay mario games that were dominating the actually fun games

The system is actually great the action and stuff is amazing and is revolutionary, but if there's no good games to buy its not worth it.

These factors made me seriously regret ever buy the Nintendo Gamecube and makes me even more insecure about the wii. Who knows if the Wii will turn over a new leaf and actually make non-mario games, or non-nintendo-francise games, having games from other francises, but at the moment I will sit and watch all the factors that might come into play and after a year or two I'll make my descision, if the wii is actually capable of dominating the universe.

From a neutral standpoint, Wii impresses me MUCH more than XBox 360 and PS3 could ever even attempt. In my eyes, Wii has already won. All I'm waiting for is an FPS with a chaingun and I'm ready. Lock and load!

It will be funny when school officials see little kids carrying that wii shotgun in their backpasck at school, taking it to a friends house or something.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl alone is a reason for me to buy the Wii. Same with Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I never commented on the video, but it was interesting seeing some of the people play the game...

Perhaps they could get some good workout games on the Wii.. ;P

Well no f*cking way it's not like the xbox360 was only out for less than a year and you complain about how many games it has?

That article was made in 2002 when none of the good Xbox games were out, but even so the first XBox console was just to get a ground setting so microsoft had something to show to other people they were looking at (Like Capcom, Square Enix, and other companies) and as you can see it worked. Assassin's Creed would not be coming to the Xbox360 without them showing off that they can do consoles, Capcom wouldn't have released Dead Rising on the Xbox360, and wouldn't plan on giving out Lost Planet.

Xbox is really glitchy?
Compared to what exactly, the ps2? Because that had glitches for the first two years, and the new slim Ps2s have more problems then the old ps2s did. Nintendo is the only one who's rarely had a glitch in their systems, unless if you count a console sucking a glitch (Gamecube)

I think the Wii will be a good console but that doesn't mean the others will suck. This console race is really up in the air. Xbox360 could do well in the states but the week point of Japan makes it possible for 2nd and 3rd place. The ps3 could do well but the price and history of gimmicks (Ps2 will look like Shrek my ass) could seriously damage it. But the Wii could also have problems with how you play it and it's lack of graphical upgrades. My predictions though are:
1. Wii
2. Xbo360
3. Ps3
But even so I feel shaky about that, the ps3 might not do that poorly, the Wii might not do that well. However all this fanboyism crap that happens on this forum is annoying. Everyone seems to like the Wii, fantastic, that doesn't completely null out the other consoles.

Now i'm going back into hiding.

I own an xbox360, I don't play it or leave it on 24/7, but it tends to freeze randomly or just restart or turn off. A lot of the points that Maddox listed apply to both the xbox and the xbox360.

Lack of games? Hmm let's see:
Oblivion - You can say it's already out for PC because hardly anyone has a good enough PC to play Oblivion at a decent setting
Dead Rising - Great game, and it's appealed to the japanese market, just to let you know
Saint's Row - Another great game, basically an xbox version of GTA, and it does a damn good job
Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter - Though not a personal fan it's considered to be a great game
Perfect Dark Zero - (See GRAW)
Chromehounds - Great Online play and interesting concept
Any Game out for the 360 and other consoles - The 360 one is the best version, hitman, dynasty warriors, lego star wars, etc.

And Gears of War is coming out soon and so is BioShock, Mass Effect, and Too Human. You call those bad games compared to what the Xbox had which was jack sh*t. They learned from their mistakes.

And they are appealing to the japanese market, they're activly working with Capcom, Square Enix, and other Japanese developers to make games appeal to them. An RPG called Blue Dragon from the creators of Final Fantasy X is being made for the Xbox360 exclusivly, Capcom is making Lost Planet which is a hit success in Japan so far, everyone loves the demo out for it. As said before dead rising came out which they thought was good. They tried making an RPG called Enchanted Arms, which wasn't that great but it was a step in the right direction.

Piss Poor desing doesn't fit in here either. It actually has rumble unlike some other consoles (Ahem Ps3) the controller is actually called one of the best and isn't huge. And they handled wireless controllers in a great way, it's responsive and shaped like a normal controller. Also the dashboard is simple to use along with adding your own music, you just press a button, choose the music and play. Marketplace is very easy to use as well, with demos and other things they're trying to make your purchase worth it.

That article is funny and true to the original Xbox which to me was a big flop (It actually did worse then the gamecube world wide) but this isn't true with the Xbox360. Did you even read the article?
