I made this map a while ago. What do you think of it?

If you do not understand the concept, you are trying to heal the white units going from top to bottom, and kill the yellow units on the sides. I have found that a "tunnel" of medics down the center works best.

I tried playing it but everybody left. The medics seemed to target the first unit they saw, then just follow it and never really heal anyone.

This map... Was it worth the one second download?

Maybe you should know that medics can't heal things from a long distance. And that this map is just confusing.

Hmm, maybe you should inverse the whole basis of a defense map...

Like, at each level you'll get a hero. He has to make it from Point A (Where he spawns) to Point B (Where he stops) in order to advance to the next level. You'll have to use your medics to heal him along his journey as enemies will try to kill him off... The more medics you buy the more chance you'll survive. You could also buy things like a science vessel to give the hero defense matrix...

Dunno, I'm just dishin' out random ideas...

Seems like the medics are just as they were before: support units.

That is the concept. You explained it really well. And there are heroes too, like Science Vessels for Defense Matrix and others to kill the attacking units.


I don't see why it is so confusing... Units go from the top to the bottom, you tunnel them between Medics in the center to heal them as the attackers on the left and right try to kill them. Each round you can earn heroes, or more Medics.

It maybe takes a little practice to get good, but I don't think the map is totally useless wink.gif

But hey, this was from a long time ago and I do realize that it's not perfect.

It seems well made, but the whole idea just dosent work. Most of the time the medics got in the way of the running units and it made more get killed. I didnt really like playing the game.

I love these odd defense maps, I once made a command center defense where you crushed the enemy units and they go top to bottom. The triggers worked well too because it started auto lifted and kept track of where you landed last so it could create it.

I made a building defense, where builings would move along a line of locations. it was fun, but some units had a hard time attacking the buildings (carriers, lurkers, dragoons)

Someone told me that he is working on a Bound Defense. I wonder what that's gonna be like?
