Keep it up there for a week, a month, whatever.

Replace it when another really good looking map gets posted. Or, don't replace it and have both up. As long as the pinned topics don't create too much clutter, they'll have a positive impact by spreading well designed topics and increasing mapping motivation.

I don't think it's a good idea. You see map thread goes down very fast in that forum and that motivates map makers to update us with new information. When it's pinned, there is no motivations.

Besides people do less feedback and more "OMG this is pinned, it must be good! ".

But thats just crazy DEAD.

Me. I played it a couple times a few months back and liked it. If you want to spotlight another map, move Omicron down and put up another. There should be more updated stuff going on there.

I figured that we could throw the winners of the Summer Modding Contest up there, and the top 3 all look pretty good.

Whatever, we can have a mixture of anything up there.

The author of the 3rd place mod hasn't made his entry public, so you can keep Omnicron up there.
