The story:

A peaceful town north of Raccoon City, after hearing about the news of a apparent Nuclear Meltdown at the Raccoon City power plant, opened its doors nice and wide for the survivors coming out of Raccoon.

They never knew what really happened.

Slowly, zombies and other bio-orginizms began to attack from the south of this city, but with a larger police force, they are still able to hold the zombies at bay.

But then the worse thought happened.

The surviviors from Raccoon City, most of them anyways, were bit.

Then the infection filled the city from within, begining another disaster.  You however, a privatly funded U.B.C.S. marine had no idea what you were getting thrown into.  Umbrella looked like a hero, but you still know what really happened.

The question is, can you live to get the word out?  Or will the Zombies or Umbrella Corporation stop you?

Features:

- Ammo system (Same as I've been trying to make a game with xD)
- HP Max system
- Green, Red, and Blue herbs.
- Infection
- Dropship inventory WITH 3 additional upgrades to its size. (EX. 4 dropships )

You will have more than 8 items? If not, why the hell do you need more dropships that will make it harder to use?

And how many times have you been "back" ? wink.gif

Add the Marilyon Manson RE theme!

And these as quests:

Find parts for a truck so that survivors holed up in a library can escape.
Retrieve the explosives from a dead UBCS member to attempt to blow a factory door down.
Escort Gary Coleman to a bunker.

You and your resident evil maps, make it a good one biggrin.gif

You didn't answer my main question about the dropships.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EcHo on 2006-10-21 at 16:55:14
You need to make anti stuck so when you run out of money and ammo, you can continue to play. Maybe like a knife or something yawn.gif

Yea I probably should do it like that. If you have 0 ammo, clips, you switch to Combat Knife. Should be rather easy. But yea onto other news.

Also you ask why Have more dropships. Well you drop the item out that you use, and they arent in a box in another part of the map. ALL items that you possess are in the dropships D:

So with 16 24 or 32 room, well... its easy to know D:

Also my brother made a very good suggestion to myself the other day. Swithing trade items to Rearrange / Trade. A beacon spawns at the bottom when you hit this, and you can rearrage your items between the dropships. Might be usefull for you neat freaks. (Don't think we have many)

Herb Shop is moving along, and the gunshop looks better than it did when I first made it. Don't worry Ill be sure to keep you all updated biggrin.gif

...I don't get it... You can hold the number of each item that you have as a deathcounter. You don't need to physically have the unit.

Anyway, less dropships = better.

Im using that deathcounter for something else O.o

And its better to physicaly see what you still have left than not see what you are doing D:
Report, edit, etc...Posted by JaFF on 2006-10-21 at 18:51:27
People don't like complex things. You won't see the items that much - you will be too busy shooting zombies. (And if you won't be too busy with zombies, your map will suck)

And how can you use "that" deathcounter for something else? I didn't even sppecify any deathcounter.

Idea: each time you use an item, you are displayed how many items of this type you still have.

Still, players don't want to remeber their items left, I belive they would rather press the hotkey to their one of four inventory thingies, and select the items then need. D:

Believe me, clicking is harder than you may think... B-net players won't care much anyway, they will just use them, and when they will run out, they will say "OMG I RAN OUT OF [item]".

They won't use the advantage you're giving. Also, remembering in which dropship do you have the item you need is rather frustrating.

Which is why I'm adding the ability to rearrange.

And don't forget, In life when you are scrambling around inside a pack to look forsomething, unless you neatly arranged it like in pokemon, you won't just find the item tongue.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by JaFF on 2006-10-21 at 19:13:00
Rearranging something while you are being attacked by zombies?! You gotto be kidding. Believe me: the simpler, the better.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Dark_Marine_123 on 2006-10-21 at 19:23:40
When you're out buying stuff and inbetween missions, you'll have plenty of time. However when you are on the run, or being chased through the streets, you arent supposed to be able to get items. Its the real life ideas that I am adding, not rigged for survival.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by JaFF on 2006-10-21 at 19:26:44
There will be time when you have no zombie attacks? That is not cool at all.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Dark_Marine_123 on 2006-10-21 at 20:43:56
Oh the zombie ALWAYS attacks, but when you are inside safe from the zombies, you have time. This is also the beginning of the game D:

Now at the end of the game, You're just screwed >:)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by KABOOM on 2006-10-22 at 00:01:45
lol sry dm but jammed is kinda right. so much easier to have just 1 unit of each item and have a dc tell you if u got it our not. also u can put a limit on how many u can have too. can be usefull if u want a space factor
