I'm not getting it. My comp can't run it, but from what I head, it's going to install spyware onto your computer.. =(

Battlefield demos were almost as bad as runescape in our school.
People used to punch kick and attack physcially to get into the computer lab. After the battle people used to scream at each other loud enough to break the windows about getting into the house or to cover that person and crap. It was really annoying. After that frenzy in the lab I had to go to my next class where the two biggest nerds sat right behind me and I had to listen to a heated discussion about what they shoul've done in their last game, and what they should've done. I wonder how I got an A in that subject.

Yeah, within a week I'm guessing there will be registry edits for the game. But that's not the point. It's the prcinciple. Boycott EA!

The spyware is for the in-game advertising right? From what I've heard, the game is really fun, and the specs aren't that different from Battlefield 2.

I want to boycott EA... but I also want the precious Spore... I'll settle for mid-way and just not buy BF2142. The demo wasn't that impressive anyway.

I was planning on buying BF2142. Now I'm just going to wait for someone to make a torrent for it with the adware/spyware stripped out. Which will probably be the same day it hits the shelves.

Torrents will always have trojan horses in them though. Thats why i haven't tried it.

My friend got the game the day it came out, he loves every game and of couse loves this one, so i went over his house to play it...after 10 min. of play I hated it, I agree with the bad reviews it's gotten. I exspected more, I loved battlefield 2 and battlefield 1942
