Okay, maybe spying on Doctor Gordon and Adam was a bit of a stretch in Saw and capturing and spying on all those people in Saw 2 was somewhat hard to follow, but really in Saw 3, following all those people and knowing about them is... ridiculous.

JS saw believes what he was doing was important, and if you believe something is important to do, then you're gonna do it regardless of w/e it takes. its not like its very hard to keep tabs on and research people (heard of private eyes). and its he's not alone either. he has amanda, and persumably a bunch of other people(such as that guy who died in the furnace in Saw II) to help him.

And later in the movie, JS's helper says she helped build the trap on the doctor. How the heck does a druggy emo learn how to build traps? Did she learn engineering in a few days? How did she wirelessly connect the trap to JS's heartrate?

she doesn't have a degree in engineering, but JS does. the wireless equipment was probably stolen.
QUOTE(Revelade @ Oct 29 2006, 02:58 PM)
Then the dad was plain stupid. The first trap, the lady is frigging dying and he just seems to talk to her. HELLO, YOU CAN TALK TO HER AFTER. So he talks and talks then he finally gets the key after she dies.

well, she was involved(as a witness) in the accident, so he'd be mentally debating whether or not to save her. also, he'd be suffering from post-traumatic distress syndrome(?), not to mention the fact that he woke up in a strange place and would be dazed and disorientated.
QUOTE(Revelade @ Oct 29 2006, 02:58 PM)
The second trap was even more lame. HMMM... SAVE SOMEONE'S LIFE OR SAVE SOME BEANIE BABIES THAT ARE ALREADY LOCKED AWAY HMMM... And how did JS's get the money to get all those pigs and machinery? The amount of lag that the dad does is painful to watch.

same issues as the first trap. PTDS(?) and a moral 'debate.'
QUOTE(Revelade @ Oct 29 2006, 02:58 PM)
The third trap was the most painful I think and even more lame. The judge just HAPPENED to stand right in front of the shotgun AFTER he looked at it.

well, if someone is robbing your house, are you gonna pay attention to the thief or the laundry you were in the middle of doing. the guy ACTUALLY dying on the rack was more important than the gun that COULD hurt you. not to mention, the judge was paying attention to the guy the whole time and didn't see the dad make a move towards the gun.
QUOTE(Revelade @ Oct 29 2006, 02:58 PM)
And at the end, after shooting the girl that shot his wife (reasonable), the man is faced with the choice of either saving his wife or killing JS. Hmmm... saving your wife or killing a cancer patient. Again, saving your HOT dying wife or killing some old freak. And just before that, he was saying I love you and stuff to his wife. Wow.

same issues as the first and second traps. he's psychologically suffering and he wants revenge.

And it recycles clips from the first 2 movies, which wastes my time.

Those scenes were some of my favorite. it was interesting seeing exactly what happened before and after the events in the movie.
my only complaint is how Amanda character was designed to be and acted out. the actor should have done a way better job, although the indepth character concept was pretty sketchy to begin with.
