I put this in null 'cause it's just a simple question, and it'll get more attention here.

Can you open .class files as if they were .java's? If so, how? I have a program given to me to mess around with and it references some classes that I want to see how they did it.

http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/software/mocha/, unless you want to reverse engineer the class file yourself.
