ARMORARY
Whenever you level up, your unit’s shield points will be set to a certain percentage until he levels up again. This is called armor. Hyper triggers are required for the ideal/greatest effect.

Whenever you level up, you get a point to upgrade your attack. Different weapons will have different attacks with different bonuses as you upgrade your attack. This will cause the player to switch weapons a lot for strategy, as they vary with the strategy that is already input in the game, and the different damage amount dealt.
The experience and levels are the same.

SYSTEMS
WORLD MAP –
You can leave towns, and enter the world map; and leave the world map, and enter towns.
BATTLES
The battle system would be RTS. TBC would be too complicated and more than likely be glitches based on my knowledge/skills with cartography.
TOWNS
They are represented by Buildings. In the towns, there will be shops, inns, ECT.
WORLD MAP
This is just a huge place to travel to progress on with the game. You leave towns to go to other places, or leave towns to battle here. There will be also caverns and places for quests.
RTS BATTLE SYSTEM –
There will be units spread around the map, and you battle them by just walking up to them with your unit.
SHOP SYSTEM –
In towns, you will be able to enter/exit shops and purchase items.
INVENTORY SYSTEM –
There will be a location on the map where units that you purchased will be spawned. They can be brought to the beacon to have various affects on your unit.
SPELL SYSTEM –
You will be able to activate spells. To easily use your spells without hassle, hotkey your spells; then select the hotkey and move the unit that you’ve selected around to activate the spell.
LEVELING UP SYSTEM –
As you gain experience by battling, you will be able to level up to increase your ‘Mana’, ‘Hit Points’, and ‘Shields’.
HITPOINT, MANA, AND SHIELDS SYSTEM –
As you level up, your maximum amount of hit points increase. Whenever you heal by the use of an item, or an inn, your hit points will rise to the max; which is determined by your level.
As you level up, your maximum mana points increase. Whenever you heal by the use of an item, or an inn, your mana points will rise to the max; which is determined by your level. Mana points are decreased as you use a spell.
As you level up, your maximum shield regeneration (to a certain extent) increases. When you level up, your armor goes up (you can’t up this by the upgrades forge) and your shields will continuously regenerate to a certain maximum; which is determined by your level.
TABLE – ITEMS AND THEIR PRICES

BUIDLINGS –
This is a list of buildings that could be added for your towns.
ITEM SHOP
This is where you buy items.
ARMORY
This is where you upgrade your attack, if you leveled up.
INN
This is where you heal your hit/mana points.
HOUSE
These are usually for scenery, to make a town seem livelier (yes it’s a real word; my word program corrected more live.) You can use these for story events, or whatnot.
JUNK
This is usually for scenery, to make a town seem livelier.
TIPS AND STUFF –
STORY
This is important! You need to have a FULL INTERESTING STORYLINE, or your map is a pointless play for nothing. Your storyline needs to be focused on, and serious. Not like those “OMG the ship is down, get the data disks!” but more like “Sir, we have found a crash ship at the Washington State airport. Should we investigate?”
Build on from there. Have cut scenes, twists, optional quests, you get the thing. This will get the player more intoned with the map, and the quests will have the player looking for more of the story, and playing the map for hours.
TEST YOUR MAP
Always test your map before releasing it! Your map may seem perfect when you finish it, but more than likely, you forgot to add something, or there are multiple bugs! So, if you don’t want a bad reputation, or for your map to suck, test-test-test! It’s also good to have your friends help test with you so that you can find all the bugs/exploits in your map.
I CAN’T RELEASE MY MAP
Why, because you can’t host?
Many people have this problem, and I do too. Some easy ways to get around this problem, is to find file upload/sharing programs/sites! You can upload your map on a site, and have people download it from the link in your profile. You can also share files on msn, so that’s good.
A way that isn’t ideal, but works, is www.portfoward.com. You can got there and download the program. When you download it, don’t register, and follow the FAQ and you’re ready to host, or whatever problems!
Portfoward.com also helps with your firewall, if this solution doesn’t work: Go to control panel; then security center or firewall; next go to Firewall (leave it on) if you went to security center; and finally, select the exceptions tab, and make sure STARCRAFT’s box is checked!
ENDING –
Well, this is the end of my reference guide.
DISCLAIMER
If this does not work for you, or you have problems with this, please e-mail me at ttuanster@hotmail.com. I thought this up as I went along. I do not own portfoward.com, STARCRAFT, or whatever. The only thing I should take credit for was writing this guide. The ideas are not original, I know, but I added them because it’s essential for this guide.
DON’T FLAME – CRITISIZE
Don’t flame, just because you don’t like this guide, or someone else doesn’t. Tell me what you liked about this guide, and why you liked it, or how it can improve, rather than saying “whoop this sucks” and leaving it as that.
Flaming includes:
“STFU AND DIE”
“Dude, you suck.”
“Wow this sucked”
‘DUDE WHO CARES IF YOU DIDN’T LIKE IT”
Criticizing includes:
“Dude, I didn’t like this, but it had potential. Keep writing.”
“Hey, man, your guide kind of had a few mistakes. But, other than that, it was fine.”
“Ooh, wow, I liked this.”
“Dude, this completely sucked in my opinion, but, that doesn’t mean you should stop writing.”
Then, adding why you had that opinion. Like: “It had a few errors.” Or “It doesn’t always work when (blah blah blah)”.

ADDITION:
Okay, let me get started.
1) The site advertisement is simply a help tool. If you staff are not happy by it, I will remove the advertisement.
2) Do not e-mail me. It was simply for contact when I was back in some other forum. Besides, I disabled Member E-mail.
3) This was copied from a Word Document (copy and pastied). That explains the tables not working well. If you can't read them, I can edit the post.
4) Sorry for double-posting. I felt it would be weird to edit the word document when I pasted it.
