Commerce Marines
On planet Wemadeit, the last reserves of duranium in the galaxy are left. But, only the corporations who mine the duranium and sell it know that. The lights are brightest before they go out, so they say, and so the mining conglomerates are about scramble for ore one last time. But this time, they wont have shovels and pickaxes in hand.Commerce Marines is going to be my next map. I'm going to finish it, though. In Commerce Marines, players will control squads of marines as they fight foes and try to gather the most ore possible. But, it's not that simple. Players will have to defend positions near pieces of ore for a full forty-five seconds before an ore carrier can magically warp in, allowing the players to whisk away the ore over to their base. But beware, ore can be stolen.
Three mining corporations will wage war in Commerce Marines. TransPlanet, which employs a vast army of poorly equipped miners, Halliburton, which has survived for hundreds of years and employs a moderate number of legally equipped soldier-miners, and finally, Alkore, whose CEO is a super-intelligent cockroach and whose miners number few, but are equipped with flamethrowers, sniper rifles, and genetically engineered attack dogs.
