My computer can handle a 256x256 map on sc single player if it can handle all the firefox tabs and other programs I run while not on sc...
(You'd figure SC would take up way less memory than stepmania...)
I think it has something to do with compressed and uncompressed maps. It'll open some of my bounds-in-progress and won't even let me start testing on others...Does SCPM 4 have some adverse effect on maps I don't know about?
I'll attach the map if you want.

It has nothing to do with compress or not...
Check the size of the map (128,...)
or try to reinstal SCPM4...

Used scmdraft to make the map smaller, it still won't load.
Uncompressed the map...didn't work.
Recompressed...didn't work.
Reinstalled scpm4, and I get the same result...
