Brief description
Well, you control a dropship that drops spider mines to defend against incoming enemy waves. The main idea is to have a defense map, lika any other, except for the Dropship Spider Mine thing. You'll see how it works later on.

Storyline / Introduction

A Horde of Enemies are attacking SeN. They are known as The Trolls, and what they do is stir up flame wars which lowers SeN's reputation on the TOP 100 list. The Administration is very angry, and decides to put up a defense against The Trolls, using what they call -IP BAN-. The Trolls, being a business, have over one thousand computers, and simutaneously, attack SeN. Being a this, it's impossible to IP BAN them all.
So now, they have picked the greatest Heroes of all time, to do the deed.

How will the Players play the game?
A Dropship system along with a Kill to Cash system. Of course, this will be easy, but this is based on the concept/gameplay.
Anyway, you control a Dropship. You will be able to unload a dragoon (so it's easy to click on) which will then get the dragoon back into the ship, and create a spider mine at the location which will attack the nearest enemy. Every five kills is one mineral. Spiper mines cost one mineral. If you do not have enough minerals, you cannot fire spider mines. This is done by automatically entering transport, and only firing the trigger if a mineral is accumulated.

•I don't know. I'm not going to spend 2 hours lurking SeN just to find out!

[COLOR=RED]Now, if you're probably wondering what I'm still doing with my other production? I'll keeping it on hold. Since I'm lazy on map making, I don't feel like working on the -better- project. So I'm just making this to get a reputation and get into the mood to make the other map.

So is this going to be a survival defence map, where you are given a certain amount of time to defend?
A small idea. Don't know what you think, but you could have advanced scarabs. Like a Spider Mine could be a advanced one.
I'd suggest actually getting some work done on a map before posting it here. Right now, your stats show that you have 0 actual work done, so I'm stuck wondering if you're ever going to do it at all.
Interesting concept, but I cant see how you can actually aim with dropship, unless your dropping it directly at them.
Also, make sure you get the people's permission before you use them or you might get sued XP jk

Echo, if I'm not mistaken, the scarab's AI automatically attacks the nearest enemy unit. So, you won't need to drop the scarabs directly on the enemys. You merely need to drop it somewhere within attack range and it will kill units.
The idea is small, sure, but from what I'm getting, it's original. Also, this is to help me get back into map making, and add another 'play-if-you're-bored' map to the pile.
I don't know about anything else.
Ideas would be appreciated.
Sounds nice. However i don't like the storyline too much. Maybe you should step out the box on the whole "Oh NoeZ SEN is getting attacked FTW!!oneone11"
Sounds cool but you should really finish your other maps before starting new topics or you probably wont finish all the maps

Devilesk isn't that bad a person and you shouldn't really criticize him like that.
Err...Shocko, you're just exaggerating it too much. I don't have a really good storyline, and it's better than none, which most of you would probably critisize me MOST for.
As for the devilisk insult, if my map is going to cause that kind of trouble, forget this then.
Anyhow, LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I'm only making this so I can FINISH MY OTHER MAPS.

I exaggerated it because it's the same basic principle that a lot of people on SEN use;
"oh lets defend SEN"
"oh lets make units with SEN members and fight evil"
"oh lets go on a SEN adventure"
"oh lets make a bound with SEN members"
too many people are strongly addicted to SEN and the fact that is becoming a common theme for maps is ridiculous.

Sure ITS TRUE that there are a lot of Sen maps popping up, but some of them have plots that are just too funny to pass up xD
Oh yeah. It's impossible to implement the scarab into the map unless you have a reaver because it disappears after being spawned. Because of this, I'm replacing it with a spider mine.

Oh, and, another thing. I'll have it so that the four hero's shots conflict with each other. If at least one shot is fired while another is fired, they will cancel out. They have to cooperate to fire shots. This adds to the twist/strategy

Hmmm seems diffrent, what type of spells are you goin to have?
Oh and may I be the Spider Mine

Whats the path look like? is it just a strip or you gunna have a big area and have it timed? is there going to be a limit of how many mines you can cast/lay, like ammo?
and whatever happen to the scarabs, are you goin to make them a spell?

Spells? Stuff like fire, ice, you get the idea. It'd be a basic RPG mana/spell setup. A dropship system will be used

Be the spider mine? If you mean by naming the spider mine your sn, sure, but I don't think many people will bother to notice. Or will notice on thta subject.

No, there isn't an ammo system. It's based on a money/buy system.
The scarabs were disabled because it doesn't work. I've tried.
I can make the reavers a spell, and set a certain wait. But it might bug up due to reaver's being picky on who to shoot and having it too long if a reaver has already chosen who to shoot.

Cant you do the old trick and make a reaver attack a building somewhere ON the map, then when you drop out the unit it moves the scarb the reaver shot to your dropship? O.o

Scarab DOkay, then. The project has been cancelled.
