Starcraft is a wonderful game and can be enjoyed in all times of the day. How many of you are active/enjoy playing starcraft past 12:00 a.m.? I have seen some 10,000 players online at night on U.S. East, which is rougly 1/3 of what are normally on during the day. Games really start slowing down at about 2:00 a.m., so I find myself alternating to making maps.

Unfortunately, I can't stay up that late, so I wouldn't know.

Yes I always play to really late. If I dont pay attention to the time I realize very quickly that it is around 3 or 4 very fast. Sucks on school nights or when I have to work. But I do almost always play after 12.

I have at times but its only fun when the people you know is there.

I usually don't play past 12. Too many porn games and asians I can't understand. Atleast during the day you can find a decent number of maps that you want to play. That rarely happens at night.

This is true, this morning I played until 6:00! It was kinda boring because everyone talked that different language that I dont know. You can never tell if they are good or not until they lose by a rush of zerglings. Or if they own with a crap load of rines and medics.

Yeh, i used to play all the time past midnight, now i only play past midnight sometimes, but you will never find my account

when i did it was fun as hell, and having friends with you make it alot better. For your problem with asian porn games is host your own map (if u can)

I would, but nobody plays Uberena or Metal Marines or half the other maps I like to play.

Ya, I have a router so this makes it impossible, people tell me that I have that latency too high cant join thing. Is there anyway I can fix this, or should I buy a modem?

Use the lat trick!

First you join someone's hosted game. Then you both leave and you host a game. The other person should be able to join your game now.

If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

Yes I know that trick, is there anyway I can permanently fix it though, I thought there was something that I could do to my IP address to allow something, I cant remember. This is because a couple of my friends also have high lat, making the trick rather impossible

I've played past midnight. It's fun with friends, and some fun maps are actually played after Midnight(I'm on West). I don't really notice a porn spike, put I notice alot more Asians.

lol well im doing it now, and 7-7 theres also rejoining bnet then hosting right away. it works for some friends of mine. i had high lat b4 and then i formated my comp and then it was gone, but im pretty sure there was something else to do with it.

Well, back when the polling booth was spawned there were quite a few random questions that didn't have polls.

As for late night SC, it's worth it. Don't you ever wonder what these Korean people play? They might have some supreme maps that we don't have, I have discovered many original idea from Koreans.

To Captain Crunch: Porn are fun, it's the only place where you can play an impossible senario like map with noobs bsing, because everyone wants to see the picture You even get to use some useless abilities units. Like optical flare, where else are you going to use it except to blind detector? Also when are you going to actually use splash to max? These factors make porn games fun, people actually learn to cooperate.

Porn maps are filthy, digusting, and above all LOW QUALITY.

I do play late night SC now that im on a new schedule im trying. I go to sleep at 3pm and wake up 1-3am.
