Two issues here...
I've been thinking that two global moderators just isn't enough, and I'm looking into hiring a third. I have my picks, but does anyone have any nominations? (existing staff only, please)
Also, I was thinking of hiring
xmrxsiegecopx to moderate some forums (probably something like Map Assistance or Campaigns & Team Projects or Misc.). Also,
Red2Blue for moderating either the mapping forums or misc. Let me know what you guys think on this.
xmrsiegecopx for UMS forums, Red2Blue for Creative and Games? That sounds good.
Global mods? Hmm...
Tux, though that kinds defeats the purpose of needing "more mod presence".
Voy, but not to distract him from the DLDB.
Doodan? maybe?
I've always thought Holysin was smart and mature enough to handle some moderating jobs, like maybe the creative section. He draws a lot and writes music, and gives pretty fair critiques on other people's work. I think he'd handle that area well. I like xxmrsiegecopyxx too. Red2Blue has periods of high activity and no activity, and I just can't erase the memory of that period when he spammed to raise his post count (I think he had like 200 posts in a single day at one point). He seems nice enough, but I have my doubts about his maturity.
My picks for Gmod would be MillinniumArmy, Voy, and Tux.
ADDITION:
Oh yeah, another member that I think would be a good addition to the staff would e DevliN. He's active, and he seems smart and mature enough, and I think he'd work well in the creative section. Just throwing that out there...
Thanks Doodan, you've realized that I can't read all the forums and you've picked out some good ones for the Creative section. I'll look into those guys.
Probably not me, as I don't venture out of the mapping forums much lately (except maybe the terrain forum). I haven't "retired" enough from mapping to do as much general forum stuff as I'd intended, it seems.
I agree with Doodan, I think DevliN would be good in Creative.
Doodan would also be my pick for Global Mod.
I'd like to see Red2Blue, Devlin as mods their suggested places are good. What about PieSniper as a mod for something. He deserves it.
Voyager/Doodan for GMod.
From what I've recently seen, Doodan and/or Tux would make some very fine choices.
If I had to pick between Doodan and Voyager...
I couldn't really decide I don't think I know either too well... But I don't object to either of them being moved up a notch.
might I add that fritfrat(U) might be a good candidate for a minor mod position. I don't know what, maybe a mod for mapping assistance or something. He has been rather active from what I've seen.
Meh, can't think of anyone else not mentioned yet.
Just note that at most we only need one or two new moderators, not eight, and preferably for whatever section the new global abandons.
I would suggest Doodan for global. He's been here a while, is active, contributes constructively to the site and is mature.
Yes, Rantent, I was thinking of hiring FritFrat awhile ago. I noticed him when he had just joined and then I guess I forgot about him. He would make a good candidate now. Does anyone else have an opinion on him?
Fritfrat would be good as a map making assistance mod.
As to other staff:
-Fire TRiGGaMaSTa. He has made six moderatory actions in his life, and only one of which have been in the forum he moderates.
-Who replaces Doodan? We certainly don't need more junior Staff outside of that.
I'd be willing to moderate Null, as I'm active in there a lot...
I'd support that, as long as it doesn't detract from your DLDB duties.
I could take Doodan's places.
Personally, Syphon, I'm not the biggest fan of your moderation.
Also, Doodan isn't moving anywhere.
Hey, guys. Just thought I'd say thanks for all the support and even though I moderate
a small subforum the best damn forum, I'm glad I'm finally on the staff.

Too harsh? Too easy? Too inconsistant?
You totally miss a few things sometimes, yet go overboard on others. I guess that fits under too inconsistant.
