Report, edit, etc...Posted by Nintendo_Confed on 2006-11-13 at 16:59:45
Since I have no idea what happened to that last topic, i'm starting a new one
Once again, Just post any stupid question that you have had about starcraft or respond to the questions of others. REMEMBER: there is no question too stupid. Please quote the question you are responding to and remember to keep humor in mind. Also, place a number before the question and follow up the last number in the post before you.( i.e, I post 4 questions and the person after me starts his question at 5). I'll start off with some questions from the last topic.

1)How do the Zerg air units (Exept the Mutalisk) fly?
2)How can SCV's repair an entire building from just one spot?
3)Why doesnt the guy in the Missle Turret get dizzy?
4)Where do SCV's get the supplys to build entire buildings?
5)How do Terran and Protoss air units stay afloat when not moving if there is no sign of any rockets?
6)How come units never run out of ammo?
7)If an Scv has the equipment nesesary to build a Command Center, tecnicaly, shouldnt that Scv be able to create more scvs?
8)How does the Lurker attack work?
9)How come Scourges can only attck air units?
10)How does every unit you have recieve an upgrade that you just reaserched?
11) Where do all the people that operate Terran units come from?
12)How come a unit's color changes when Mind Controled?
13)What is Creep made of?
14)Who is cuter, Kerrigan(Non-infested), The Terran Medic, or the Terran Valkerie?
15)When you lift off a building, why cant you cram a unit inside it?
This means that the person after me must start his questions at 16)

1)How do the Zerg air units (Exept the Mutalisk) fly?
Vespene Gas makes them float

2)How can SCV's repair an entire building from just one spot?

'Cause they're awesome

3)Why doesnt the guy in the Missle Turret get dizzy?
Non-alcoholic beer

4)Where do SCV's get the supplys to build entire buildings?
In their pants

5)How do Terran and Protoss air units stay afloat when not moving if there is no sign of any rockets?
Vespene Gas

6)How come units never run out of ammo?
They have an infinite sign on the guns

7)If an Scv has the equipment nesesary to build a Command Center, tecnicaly, shouldnt that Scv be able to create more scvs?
No, where would they get the person to pilot the other SCV?
8)How does the Lurker attack work?
1337-ness

9)How come Scourges can only attck air units?
'Cause. They can't

10)How does every unit you have recieve an upgrade that you just reaserched?
Technologocaiy!

11) Where do all the people that operate Terran units come from?
Factory

12)How come a unit's color changes when Mind Controled?
Color dye

13)What is Creep made of?
Feces

14)Who is cuter, Kerrigan(Non-infested), The Terran Medic, or the Terran Valkerie?
Uh.

15)When you lift off a building, why cant you cram a unit inside it?
You want to shove a unit up a building's ass?

This was moved to null, so

Uh...

1. They're like zeppelins, or more accurately like the giant gas bag life forms in Titan and A Meeting with Medusa. Except scourges, which flap their wings like mutalisks do.
2. They release nanomachines into the building that repair all of it at the same time and then return to the SCV.
3. He does.
4. That's why buildings cost minerals and vespene gas, duh. The SCVs just teleport it in from the command center.
5. All the rockets are horizontal, so they would only help if the ship was moving fast and had wings. The wraith, scout and corsair can be explained this way, but everything else needs a new mechanism even when they are moving. I think it must be some sort of anti-gravity mechanism. I mean, how do they keep those giant space platforms up and yet have gravity keeping ground units on them? It's obvious they have some kind of gravity generators.
6. They stole it from that guy in the BroodWar intro. Nah, I'm joking, they teleport it in from buildings.
7. Who says the equipment necessary to build a command center can also be used to build SCVs? It's not like we have any SCV blueprints or anything. It could simply require certain construction techniques that other SCVs simply aren't capable of.
8. It extends a long tentacle through the ground, and multiple small spines shoot up from that tentacle. How lurkers and sunken colonies get the strength necessary to push aside all that ground, though, I have no idea.
9. They're blind, so they fly by echolocation. And as they're a lot bigger than bats, when they approach the ground the terrain messes up their echolocation, so they can't tell what to fly at. In the air it's just them and their targets (and other zerg, but they're all connected psionically so they can avoid each other).
10. It's teleported out to them.
11. Well, what do you think the marines and the medics are doing when you're looking at a different part of your base?
12. Spray paint for protoss and terran units, pigment changes for zerg units.
13. Do we even want to know?
14. You can't really see the valkyrie very well, and uninfested Kerrigan isn't actually very good-looking. Infestation actually improved her looks somewhat. But the medic still wins.
15. Building weight ratios are calculated very precisely, so if you put a unit inside the gravity generator just wouldn't be able to lift it off the ground. As for resources, those are stored in supply depots while the command centers are in flight.
