Im just wonder about locations, the ground elevations. Would lower elevation mean burrowed units, and spider mines. while mid elevations would be most units that walk on the ground. at high elevation it would be floating units such as vult, archon and probe.
or would it matter on the terrain, such as high dirt etc.
im also curious on how air elevations are determined.
I think low means low terrain
Example: Low = Dirt
Med = High dirt
High = Air units
I might be wrong tho

Low = Dirt
Med = slopes
high = high dirt
I guess
About low air mid air and high air i guess its the same
Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about. It confuses people.

Do you use Firefox?
I'll try on IE then...
Edit:
Doesn't work...
I'm on Fx, it works fine.
And incase it goes broken again (if it ever was), a little excerpt:
QUOTE
Low – If this is checked, the location will include ground units in low terrain.
Mid – If this is checked, the location will include ground units in mid terrain.
High – If this is checked, the location will include ground units in high terrain.
Low Air – If this is checked, the location will include air units directly above low terrain.
Mid Air – If this is checked, the location will include air units directly above mid terrain.
High Air – If this is checked, the location will include air units directly above high terrain.
Low would be like Rusty Pit, Low Platform, Substructure, Ice. Medium: Dirt, Snow, Jungle. High: Elevated catwalk, roof, high dirt.
I doubt that Dirt and Jungle are "medium", fritfrat, snow certainly isn't.
Just remember the following: Whenever you can't look up a cliff, you are one level below.
Badlands:
Low: Dirt, Grass, Mud...
Medium: High Dirt, Structure...
High: None (might want to test that actually)
Jungle:
Low: Dirt, Jungle...
Medium: High Dirt, High Jungle, Temple...
High: High Temple
Space:
Low: Rusty Pit (don't know if low platform is low or medium...)
Medium: Platform, Solar Array...
High: High Platform
etc...
i see so it would be useful if you wanted to make boat like air units, so when they go into medium air they explode. Unfortunately you cant detect burrowed units with them.
The boat-like units would require the surrounding terrain to be higher - that means not dirt, but high dirt.
And instead of exploding, an invisible-wall-trigger would be better...
Nice how admins like to have mass accounts...
Thanks for deleting my posts
gtfo mugen
so low air would include dirt and water? well thats not very useful.
i also forgot what i was gonna use burrow detection for...
Low air is the air over "low" terrain.
I think water is low, but the point of the air locations is that they are just the air over that location. If you were making boats, you could have them blow up if they flew "up" onto higher land.
