Well, ive never been good at making melee maps. Ive never been good at looking for balance issues and such, but that is why im so greatful to have SEN.

The map is now done. Im VERY happy with it, and myself. Its my first melee map that I believe does not suck. If a pro korean champ came to my house, back handed me, and told me this map sucked, i wouldnt care. Thats how happy i am.

Let me know of any imbalances/bugs/comments.

Current Version: 1.03
Changes:
Opened up alot of choke areas
Cosmetic changes on various places
New base to base routes added
Ramps added

There are no nats. The map would be easy for terran to own because there's only one way to get to the other's dude base, and it's a nice choke.

Two ways in. The low platform runs from base to base, and the plating leads down to the mid. I suppose i could make those gas onlys nats, but i dont know.

Edit: if i do make them nats ill have to use my horrible looking space backwards ramps =/

Lies. Cant you see the ramps? Oh wait i see now i broke them at mid. I didnt mean for that to happen. Thanks. Fixing.

Put nats in using my horrible backwards ramps too. =/

this map is way imba for terran. =/ just camp right at the middle spot. Red can't go anywhere. And by the time red gets like something to transport, i'd have the map placed with turrets and have a squadron of wraiths waiting for it to get it over with. those chokes, are really advantageous for terran. Theres that ramp expo over there that any terran siege could tank on with alot of support.

Your biggest problem is that the spaces are too tight. Certain races been to be able to flank their opponents in battle, or they lose (ZvT/P, PvT). Specific ways to fix? Take out some of the useless crap in your map. You've cramed way too many things into one map, that's not what melee is about. After you've taken away the ideas you value least, you should have room to make the paths larger. It's not that hard to understand, just read the guide here. It'll get you started and will relieve much of the headache posters like myself get from saying the same things over and over again.

Yea... definitely what sexy said. It may seem like a good map because it looks pretty, but it still has MANY problems... It would really just be repeating what has already been said a million times in other posts. Read the link sexy gave.

I like the design but as already said some places look to be too tight.

I guess I would try to get aitunits as fast as possible if I played this map sad.gif
